Pumping Karni

So I already own a pump kit for the karni. My Question is more of the usage of CCM parts. If I picked up a ccm frame, pump arm, and linkage are (not sure the real name of it) Would I be able to use it on my karni with out damaging the body. Thanks for any help.

Guess I'll start getting parts then. One piece at a time. starting with a frame since I really don't like having to turn my gun on with my eblade every time. lol.

while we're on the topic(kinda) of frames, does anyone have any input on thick vs. thin ccm 45?

does anyone have a comparison of one (thick or thin) compared to a phantom or stock wgp grip frame?

i've always liked my semis with thin grips, but things totally change when you get to wrap that an extra finger around with a single trigger frame.

haha wow, i totally forgot to consider that i wear gloves.

is this difference in thickness really significant, more than a half inch?

edit: and could you compare the thin frame to another frame for me? maybe in relation to a stock WGP hinge, phantom or impulse? (only guns i have on hand, )

thanks a lot btw.

no the glove wont make a difference I was giving that info to you so you could picture the size of hand I have.

So in comparing the thin 45 to a wgp hinge frame I'm not sure what info you want but I can say on feel the ccm thin frame is much more comfortable.

i threw a glove on, and you're right. ha, not sure why i was thinking it would be such a big difference.

thickness comparison: wgp frame vs thin 45

The great thing about the slim frame is that you can bolster it if it isn't big enough, like I did. It's about half as thin as most stock frames, but with a little shimming (again, like mine) it fits my hand pretty well.

I ended up getting a normal for my karni, but I have decently long fingers. So I need more to hold on to. Most guns come with thick grips, like my 04 fly angel, and I got some of the flat panel grips for them. Yeah they looked cool but wasn't as comfortable for me. If you've used thin frames before and prefer them, then I suggest getting the thin frame. I got the thick because that's what was more comfortable for me.

thank you guys for all your help thus far!

i ended up getting a pump kit to give my friends new gun (86'd phantom) some time to get here so i can try it out for myself. from what i hear the thick ccm 45s are a tad thicker than their 86* counterparts, so i'll have something to go off of.

So not sure if I should pick up a A/T for the Karni. Played with it on saturday... shot like 600+ rounds in 4 hours... What you think?

So thinking about picking up the CCM lower tube kit, instead of the AT. I'm shooting too much paint with out one. I have a mad man spring kit in, but seems like it's making a farting noise to me almost. Just doesn't sound like a cocker pump to me. It's loud. I sweet spot the reg with both green (light) springs, but had to change over to a blue (medium) valve spring considering I couldn't get it below 320fps all the way out. But I did pick a SM Karni Back block for the dual cocking rods. The other thing I was curious about is if I could find a spring somewhere for the front pump arm, that doesn't fit into the pump. I noticed the hitman mod came with one but I was curious if that was a decent one. I have a ans karni pump kit before they were gone and before they were 80 bucks. Got mine for $30 shipped. If anyone else has any other suggestions about my mods, thank you very much. Still shooting the crap out of people with it.
