I think you should look into playing reball in the gym.
You would need 15-20 bunkers, Scuba tanks(rent or buy), fill station, and 2000-3000 reballs.
My highschool team and I play reball in my backyard
a little look

Now I feel the fool. Completely forgot about reballs. Will have to get this approved by administration but this might just work for drills.
Thanks Mike.

Reballs are great... However, keep in mind that you WILL need more than that. You'll want closer to 5000 or so at LEAST. Otherwise you'll be picking reballs up off the ground everytime you want to play a point. You're best off between 6000-10000 reballs. Its a lot of expense but it saves money down the road. Also, you'll need to 'bullet proof' any windows in the gym as well. Reballs would likely break them otherwise.

Point taken. I figured they'd be carrying pods during drills though. I would be at least. If you practice mechanics and don't carry pods you're wasting time IMO.

Ok update. got my roster set so I was able to refigure our first year cost. Total at this point is down to $3,198 if we run the Axe or $2,798 if we run the Etha. Waiting on one last sponsor to respond before deciding which package to go with.

We don't play in the NCPA due to it being -20 with 3 feet of snow during their season. We play in a newly formed MWHSPL so it's 1 hopper and 2 pods per person per point.

You do realize that I know that now and that this thread has been open for a month or so and that it was -not- in the OP. I was later posted in the thread before I'd gotten that far down.

Yes this my seem like a bad time for the reason you mentioned. However, if it was not form the parents and the community funding the sports when they first started in the schools they would not be in then schools now.

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!
But seriously, if OP is still watching this thread, how is your team doing? I'd love to see this spread to more high schools (especially in my region).

I am a student at Papillion-La Vista South High School based out of Omaha, Nebraska also. I am sure we could attempt to get a couple of school-based clubs out here that could go against you guys. Madison is pretty far away but it is worth the trek if we can get some sort of league going.
Omaha has a pretty good scene with the University of Nebraska-Omaha having a NCPA team and Vicious being here. I am hoping both will help in the setting up of some sort of school-based team.
