Doobie,
What happened with your broadcasts? Saw the start
and then that was it?

So sorry! We were a little short handed on the ref side and things got interesting really fast! I was needed to Ref and had to concentrate on what was going on around me. Those players up on the wall of the ruins around 11:00 AM yesterday will attest to me being perched precariously on top of the wall where the action was getting close and personal. Not a good spot to film the game as a fall would have been...painful. I left halfway through the day to get some work done for college and will not be returning today due to multiple meetings in NYC. (I'm on the train right now!) Thanks for watching Dorsai! I think you may have been the only one before the video went out on YouTube!
Maybe the fall game I will be able to do a better job of it.

Yes a german victory. Incredible game. Back and forth action all day. We needed some allied armor. West point rocks and thank you cadets for running a great show.

Had a great time at my first Combat Classic. I think I underestimated the terrain so I will be more prepared next time. Thanks to QUICKSHOT for the 4500 PSI all weekend. The paint shot great and the weather held out for the weekend. Hope to be back for the fall classic.

Cadets,
Congratulations on an outstanding event. West Point games continue to be among the ELITE, not only the game play but also in the planning and coordination of the entire event. Thank you to all of the Cadets for doing an incredible job; your efforts epitomize professionalism.
To the Refs,
You get right in the fire fights, sacrificing yourselves to ensure the right calls are made and each side has an enjoyable time. I don't believe there is a better event in terms of the quality of the referees.
Quickshot and Gotkills,
Thanks for the quality air fills (consistent fills above 4300 PSI on 4500 tanks) and for assisting an expediting the tank hydro check process. The air lines were short, and air plentiful.
For those who have never played @ West Point; I can assure you it is one of the top 3 events in the North East each year; and one of the top 10 nation wide. The above only skims the surface of the quality of the entire event. The field is in great condition, the organization and planning are top notch. The Cadets provide a clean & safe environment and of course last but not least the quality of the players is second to none.

Definitely, big props to quickshot! They never fail. Something breaks, its fixed quick. (Dude next to me had the hose explode [scared the piss out of me], 10mins later it was replaced).
Suggestion for improvement- For the start of the game, there ought to be more than 1 chrono ref. Not sure if they added more when that line got HUGE, but I know at one point there were 3 or 4 chronos but one ref. Also, paint...WAY too small. It's not the cadets fault, just holy ****. I went through 8 markers (I think I covered 3 decades of designs) and finally settled with a Nerve. But hell, I think I only got about 4hrs of gameplay the whole weekend. Could never get a marker to work, or like the paint. I usually have no issues with paint, but this was something I don't want to experience again.
Gameplay- always fantastic. Loved every minute of it (that which I was able to play). West Point, as always, was a well oiled machine and things went smooth. Thank you cadets for putting so much work into the props and the event overall. It's what keeps me coming back to the game. Here is to another 25yrs!

If anyone picked up my Apex 2 tip with a J&J Ceramic adapter stuck inside, can you PM me please?
It was on top of the hill near the tape line closer to the left side of the hill.

PLAYERS!!! First of all, again thank you to all of those who came out to the event. We love hosting this event and it was amazing getting to see just how many players stuck around even in the bad weather.
Thanks to everyone for their support and dedication to our game and our club.
Also, players - please fill out this short survey to provide feeback to the Cadets so that we may hear your voice about the weekend! We want as much player and guest input as we can get.

This was the second combat classic for the Mouthy Mimes and it was better than the last. We enjoyed the event and look forward to the next. The DJ truck was a nice touch to the event, definitely gave the scenario some flare. Thanks to the west point cadets for the hustle on reffing its a tough job especially on that terrain. We wish we could have stuck around for the second day. Until the next time!!!

They don't call it the Combat Classic for nothing. Every one is better than the last. I can't say enough good things about this event.
Unlike in real history, the Germans stomped the Allies all weekend, but I had a great time anyway. Congratulations Red.
Paintball is just a game, but trying 5 times before I got more than 50 feet out of those landing craft, gave me a real appreciation for what a TERRIFYING experience that must have been in real life.
Thanks to everyone. Team mates, opponents, but most of all the Cadets for a great game. See everyone in the fall.

Thank you to the Cadets for yet again raising the bar and continuing to make this the GO TO event every Spring and Fall. All around incredible job by every West Point Cadet from Cadet Robbins on down the chain of command.
It was an great honor to be selected to selected to help the US team again this year.
Great job with the win Red but Blue played an amazing game as well. Even more proud of you guys, after the crushing defeat dealt by Red on Saturday, you guys came back in force and picked up more points then red on Sunday!
And all the guys camping and stayed for the entire weekend....pure balls!
Can't wait until the next Classic!

Also we have a few pics on our Facebook page. Please check it out, share as well as tag your self. At least the last few photos you will find your self in there!
There are also a few samples of behind the scenes pictures taken for Paintball x3 in the album before the Start of the Classic on Friday before gate opening. Look for upcoming artiles on the wrap-up of the classic and spotlight on the West Point Paintball Club.
