Please clarify.

Thanks
We do not recommend disassembling the reg to increase the output pressure on a non-adjustable reg as this will void your warranty. Plus, you wont know how much your output will be since we stress relieve springs to ensure proper output.

I will wait for Rob to post. But I think U R right, I think might just have to get a new reg.

Thanks
the "shims" inside our adjustable regulator are not the same as the belleville springs on the piston which look like "shims". Just want to make sure you and your tech are talking about the same thing.

Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Last year it was 5k, I know this year Ninja was hoping for more.

We've run out for this year. Those bottles go fast. If you want to get one for someone for a Christmas present, I highly recommend picking one up from a local store or field or internet site as long as they have one in stock. I have a feeling they may all be gone before the holiday season gets here.

Stewylouie - Hey stew! Hope you and the family had a great Thanksgiving

I have these cracks in my gel coat are these normal? I didn't see them when I first got the bottle but noticed them today. Only played with it once and filled 3 times never dropped or anything. It looks like stress cracks.

I should mention I know they aren't a threat to the bottles integrity from what I've read, but I was just wondering if this is something expected or if it's a flaw in the gel coat? First time with HPA and not sure what constitutes normal wear.

Hey pushc6. Its very rare for the grey bottles to develop outer gel coat cracks but if you want, you can definitely send that in for warranty work by clicking http://97.74.153.121/NinjaWarrantyTa...s/warranty.php

Unfortunately, these kind of cracks can develop on just about any manufacturer's bottle. You can google search on cracked pure energy tank, cracked guerrilla air tank, cracked empire tank you'll see that all of us have had this issue. Even though its 100% safe and doesnt affect the performance or safety of the bottle, send it into our bottle manufacturer so they can apply the new gel coat on the bottle for you. (no out of pocket expense to you)

Yea I saw it wasn't uncommon, I was just wondering if it's a result of a bad batch of gel coat or sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't "normal" kind of thing. If it was a result of a bad batch, then it may be worth it to send it in to get it "prettied up" again, but if it's something that could pop up again then I'm not sure i'll even waste the time since it lives with a bottle wrap on it most of the time.

What did they suggest you do when you contacted them about the cracks? That's a little surprising to hear they wont do anything to help you out.

It should not occur again unless you buy an older tank that might be prone to the cracks and has not already been sent in for warranty work.

Our mfr revised the gel coat formula and process and since the beginning of August, no issues on the new coating on warrantied tanks or new ones.

I'm trying to adjust my reg to be LP to use with my victory, I'm being told to take out all the shims, does this include the thin silver ones? or just the thick red ones?

In the ninja video it says to remove both red shims to obtain a low pressure. I'm just asking because some people say to remove all shims (assuming that included the thin silvers) but wanted to check with the pros first.

For a Victory or G6R, you want to remove all silver (if any are in there) and all red shims
