a majority of the bonnets will just unscrew by hand. If it doesnt, the machine screw we include will help. hypothetically speaking, you could also use a strap wrench on the bonnet.

My own regs during the years, have found that true in some cases. With a stock pressure, the bonnet is hard to remove by hand, you need the tool. Once its low pressure, the bonnet can be removed by hand

you dont want to use the bonnet removal tool if there is pressure in the tank. If you want to make it easy to remove an air system from a marker that doesnt have an on/off, you can shoot out the air between the reg and ASA to make it easier to remove from the marker. If there's pressure coming out, its always going to be a little more difficult to remove the air system from the marker.

The removal tool is only used when you dont have pressure in the bonnet and you need to remove the bonnet from the reg body to access the internals.

What does DP recommend using on their Threshold and what does Bob Long reg accept as far as pressures go from a tank regulator?

thanks rob lol. Yes I know always confirm the tank is empty before ANY work on a reg

I should of said with shims(high pressure), it needs the bonnet tool. Without shims(low pressure), the reg can come off by hand. And naturally no air in the system at this time

Just bought a Ninja 90/4500. Also have a 68/4500. Wondering if I can run a remote from the 90 on my back into the 68 fill nip and run off of both tanks? Plan on going to a lot of big games and I have to ability to carry 17 pods + hopper.

Ninja Pro Adj Regs only come with 3 shims.

3 = 800, 2 = 700, 1 = 550, 0 = 450 psi.

refer to your manual. you will have a different spring pack and shims inside the PRO regulators versus the standard adjustable reg we use in the pressure adjustment vid.

I will recommend to management that we do a new video on adjusting the pressure in the pro regulator.

My tech said he would recommend between 500-800psi. Might want to contact Dye to see what their techs recommend to be 100% sure.

I left my tank in my trunk for most of the summer and it probably got pretty hot in there. Is the tank permanently damaged or unsafe?

I've used it since and it works fine. The gel coat is cracked but that happened before and is part of the known issue.

Can tanks handle the heat of a car in the sun for a month or so. I live in Chicago so the temps weren't like Arizona or anything. But still hot.
