Each reg is hand built so the tolerances on the standard and ultralite adjustables can differ slightly, which is why some will include silver shims along with the red ones.

No.

the regs that use shims are our COIL SPRING design. Our SLP regulators use a Belleville Spring pack. The red shim will not have the exact same affect on the belleville's as it does on the coil spring.

I took my brand new 50/4500 out of storage of two months and noticed hit had a crack all along the top through the black coating. I sent you an email with pictures because I am not sure what to do with it.

No need to send pics. Go to NinjaPaintball.com and click Warranty and follow the instructions for Bottle Warranty and the manufacturer of our bottles will take care of you direct.

My reg is near impossible to remove from my Ninja tank. Does this mean it is red loctited on? I need it to come off for World Cup. Any recommendations?

Hi HolmesBalla. We use 1/2 of a measured drop of red loctite to help SLOW DOWN the removal process, not stop it entirely. You will need 18ft lbs of reverse torque in order to break the reg free from the bottle.

I would highly recommend taking the system to a local pro shop and having it removed by a professional so you dont damage the reg upon removal. Bring it by the booth and at Cup and we'll show you how to properly reinstall it back on the bottle.

haha right on. Good to hear the manufacturer was able to take care of you on the issue. From what we've been hearing, the gel coat looks and feels MUCH better than the old gel coat.

Check the post by Rob 6 posts before your post. The tank is safe to use but the tank manufacturer will take care of you. Just go to Ninja's website and click the warranty link.

hi.. i understand Ninja's customer service are very good handleing with it customer problems. they even replace their cracked with new tanks.

As from safety aspects, since the gell cracked its only the cosmetic problem.
so is it 100% safe to use.

how'd you know or what do look for when the tank is unsafe to use?

one example, since the gell coating cracked, and you cant see the tank fiber since it hardly to see/visually on it or etc..

Is there any indicator or sign of it?

Thank you. your help is highly apperciated.

Its hard to explain. When you damage a tank to the point where the fibers are showing or frayed, it will look much different from a gel coat stress crack. The only time I see fibers damaged is when something hits the tank or its been dropped. Then the damage goes through the black and clear layers of gel coat (on black tanks, there are 2 layers over the fibers - clear and black) and the damage will look like a chip versus a hairline crack as pictured above.

Eh, not common..but it can occur. The manufacture has come up with a new gel coat and if you send them that tank (on their ups acct#), they will remove the old coating and put the new coating on it for you. Just go to ninjapaintball.com and click warranty and follow the bottle warranty instructions.

800psi, + or - 25psi. all regs ship from the factory at that output as long as you dont have an SLP or SHP (which would be lasered onto the bonnet). Not all regs will ship with silver shims since the tolerances can differ from reg to reg.

They were a limited run to support breast cancer awareness. Here is a picture of one:
