Hey Rob, I have a question about the inside of the Sinatra Suite in Vegas.... If you could help me out sometime around October, that'd be great.

EXACTLY!

You hit the nail on the head with your statement. Even at just a 100psi increase, it made all the difference in the Ego11 working correctly.

Certain markers are on the threshold of working correctly when you're only inputting 300psi from the Ninja SLP regulator. Because of this, we will always recommend using slightly higher pressure because we know for a fact egos and geos will work at mid pressure, no matter what board settings or upgrades you use.

Thanks for you post and input

Hey shadow one. Sorry about that. Its such a new product we haven't really released dimensions, weights, etc to the public.

Total height, including regulator mounted on the bottle: 9"
Width of the tank: 3 5/8"
Weight: 2.69 lbs

Thanks and please let me know if you have any other questions.

(2) pairs of latex gloves

and as much alcohol as possible.

Do the ninja pro regs come with shims installed or do they come with no shims, thus making the output pressure 400 psi?

If they do not come with shims, where can I get a set?

Both of my regs came with the shims installed. I took all but one out to get me down to 550.

Hey, I have a Ninja 4.5k reg that I purchased factory tuned to put out 950 psi (before the SHP was released, back when you offered direct sales through your site).

It fills fine, but leaks out to literally nothing within about 8 days of being filled without being used/dropped/fiddled with or exposed to temperature changes. At day 7 or so it's at 900psi, but it does empty completely.

As long as the regulator follows ASTM standards for thread pitch/depth, they should work. We follow ASTM standards 100% so that our parts are universal with other companies regulators that also follow ASTM standards.

We include everything you need inside of the regulator to adjust the output pressure.

Fill your bottle with air and submerge the entire regulator underwater and let me know where the bubbles are coming from. That will pinpoint the leak and at that point, I can let you know what to do to fix it.

Thanks,
Rob

Been there, done that, no bubbles. It's a really slow leak, whatever it is, and it only started about a month and a half ago.

Ok. Did Ninja ever put up a video on how to remove the shims and adjust the pressure for the Pro regulator? I took mine apart last night and I did not see any shims installed. Where exactly are they located?

There are two types of shims in a pro reg, curved thicker ones that are the Belleville stack ones ad the thinner flat ones that adjust output pressure. Loosen your bonnet and flip your system upside down. If you remove your bonnet while it's upside down the Belleville shims should stay on the piston shaft and the adjustment shims will either rest on the least Belleville shim on the piston shaft or they will be held in the reg by the lube. Mine usually stay in the base of the regulator. Hope this helps man

Ok, if there is a leak, bubbles will form from the area the air is escaping from.

Without knowing where the leak is, its going to be really difficult to help you.

If its that slow of a leak, you're going to have to stand there holding your regulator underwater long that you did the first time and figure out where the leak is coming from before i'm able to assist.

If you watch the old pressure adjustment video, the shims are in the exact same place as our standard adjustable. The shims (flat washer looking parts) are all silver in the PRO regulator and are 100% flat. They will not be curved in any way. They are found inside the bottom half of your reg at the bottom of the widest part.

Thank you all for your help. This is exactly what happened to me; the grease held the shims in. Also, they are so thin, I thought they were part of the reg. I used my allen to pull them out

I have to do the same things sometimes. If the lube sticks to the adjustment shims, it can make them a lil difficult to get out unless you use a small diameter allen or dental pick. Good to hear you found them and were able to get them out. Let us know if any other questions come up
