I never mentioned that 800 would make it starve for air. I'm not sure where you're getting that from.
Please give me a call at 877-646-5287 for additional help.

Can I run SLP on an Axe? I know the recommended PSI is at 500-550, which is what I'm at now (2 red shims removed). How low can I run the tank reg and still be consistent running 120-160psi on the Axe ASA? I usually get around 4-5 pods using my 50/4500, trying to see if I can stretch it a bit more.

I believe Rob will say that it' hit or miss with SLP and AXE. Some people can get away with it, and others can't. 500psi-600psi output is where axes are happy at.

Bronze speaks the truth. We recommend 500-550psi. Some players have been able to run them on lp or even slp but its very hit or miss, especially with the slp. At 500-550psi, your Axe should work just fine, no matter what upgrades or board settings you use. Once you get below around 300-400psi in your tank, you may start to experience drop off or inconsistent shots.

ok so at the risk of sounding like a complete idiot im just going to ask my question. i recently bought a ccm s6.5 and i shot it the other day w my ninja 68/4500 tank no problems. i then received my ninja black pearl 50/4500 tank and as soon as i screwed it onto the 6.5 it started leaking. i screwed the 68/4500 back on and no problems again..
i inspected the o-rings and they seem fine.. a friend suggested that the threads were shorter on the 50 than on the 68? i guess i'm just looking for some ideas on what could be going on.. im no expert on hpa tanks or anything.. clearly. so any help would be greatly appreciated

Naw no dumb question. Positive place here.
was it leaking from the ASA, and where exactly? Was both tanks full at the time?

neither tank was full. my 50 the one that was leaking is empty now.. but only leaked all the air after i screwed it into the gun. the 68 is still at 2k. im not exactly sure where it was leaking from like it almost seemed like it was going through the gun and leaking out the barrel.. but that doesnt really make sense since it only did that w the 50?

Is the 50 was under 500psi or so, then it may not of had enough pressure in the tank to keep the valve closed. Im no expert on cockers, but i would try filling the 50ci again, atleast past 1000psi, and give it another go

good suggestion. rsnhm, did you adjust the pressure in the 50ci tank or do you know how many shims and which color are inside if its an adjustable reg?
btw - those s6.5's are NICE! one of my favorite pumps

You can POTENTIALLY run an SLP. That is how we found the gun to be smoothest and what not. But if depending on your settings or location, a regular mid pressure would work fine.

We do not recommend using the SLP on anything other than a Bob Long G6R or Victory. With that being said, you may or may not be able to get your marker to run off an SLP reg.
So, instead of taking the chance of your marker not working, we recommend 550psi mid pressure. At that pressure, the ego 11 will cycle and chrono correctly, no matter what board settings or upgrades you use.

Mr. Ninja, got another question, the tanks that are still selling with the UL regs, on places like ANS for instance, are the bottles they come with made by Luxfer? Are you still making those or is that just left over stock?

Im putting the Hero back in Heroin.
I want your G6r parts and upgrades, sell them to me, because you wont get anything for them if you sell/trade them with the gun.

must be leftover stock. We haven't had a bottle made by Luxfer in a long time. Might want to check the born on date of the bottle and also see if its been re-hydro tested yet

Is it true that the pro reg pin is too short for the g6r? I just bought a brand new ninja tank from swap my tank, in fact it was one of the limited edition emerald tanks.
