Have a couple of questions.
1. Is there an exploded view for a UL reg and the new Pro reg?
2. What are the differences between the two besides the swivel design?
3. Is it possible to turn a UL reg into a Pro?

Thanx

I snapped the nipple in half. The threads are still in the reg so it's pretty much fubar.

If you can post a pic of the reg, we can try and determine which one you have. Try and take multiple pictures of each side of the regulator.

Which regulator do you have? Standard Adjustable or PRO Adjustable? If you have a standard adjustable, please let me know how many and which color shims came with your system. I'll need that info to help you out.

usually removing 2 red shims in our Standard Adjustable regulator will get you down to about 500psi roughly. If you have a PRO adjustable, removing 2 of the shims will get you to 550psi.

Yes, we include an exploded diagram in the manual for each regulator, which can be found under the Manuals link on our website.

In the PRO regulator we have a belleville spring stack now which allows for tighter consistency. We also have the adjustment collar on the pro reg and a shorter fill nipple design with a hexagon shaped head for easy removal/installation.

No, two totally different bonnets.

If you send it to us, there is a chance our tech might be able to get it out. Call me at 877-646-5287 x309 if you want an RA# to send it in for us to look at. Or, if you're going to be at PSP Phoenix next week or NPPL chicago/Living Legends 5 next month, we can check it out for you at the event.

They sure are. I noticed youre in Omaha. Might want to try DSS or CJ's. Both are Ninja stores and might have one in stock.

Hey gatorfan. Yes, reg threads are universal so a Ninja SLP will thread into an Empire 48/45 tank.

I bought an Empire basic system recently and was told somewhere that Ninja not only makes their own brand of regs, but also makes the Empire/PMI/and a few other regs for other manufacturers. I may have been told that here, unsure, but if this is the case, are the Empire regs adjustable and if so, how would I drop the output pressure on my tank. The Ninja I had before was add/subtract a shim or two.
