Yes, simply remove both red shims to get to low pressure output. If you have silver shims then remove those as well to get the lowest possible output.

Most likely. We wont know the exact design we're having added until we get closer to October. I will try and get a date added again and maybe some other pink ribbon-style graphics.

I'm trying to understand your question. Are you asking if we ever made custom built SLP's and put them on a Vicious tank? Please let explain better and I'll try and help.

Guy is claiming a guy traded it telling him it was a custom built slp reg around a le vicious reg.

Not to sure if he means he just took the shims out...

If its an SLP, it will have SLP laser engraved on the bonnet. The LE Vicious Regulator can only get down to about 450psi at the lowest. SLP outputs at 300psi.

I'm just curious, I just bought a brand new Ninja 68/45K tank and have been testing it on my Shocker NXT, and I am noticing that the recharge rate is doing something rather curious. I have a gauge on the NXT and I'm observing that after every shot, the gauge will read a -15/20PSI decrease from the initial 160PSI input. Is this normal?
I'm assuming it might have something to do with my regulator, but I'm sure that this isn't the case because I've had the shop test my NXT with one of their tanks and the gauge read a very consistent 160PSI with little to no change (I haven't inquired this with them yet as I barely received the Ninja tank and the testing was conducted well before)

100% normal. This is what we refer to as your recharge rate. When the needle drops, its because the marker is using the pressure stored inside to propel the paintball out of your shocker. The marker needs to "recharge" that gas by refilling the air chambers inside your marker. Thats why you notice a slight drop and then the needle jumps back up to your markers operating pressure.

I know, I've described it as "recharge rate"
But what makes me curious is that the shop's Pure Energy (PMI) tank is able to recharge at a lightening-fast rate that the marker's gauge reeds a little to no movement of the needle at 160PSI after each shot, in comparison to the Ninja tank that I have, the needle drops -15/20PSI after each shot. But if it's normal, I'll have to bite

100% normal. Are you experiencing drop off during rapid fire? If not, then it sounds like everything is operating correctly.

No sir, just in single shot intervals, it's even worse during rapid fire -- the needle will dip down 25-45PSI from the stand still initial 160PSI during rapid fire, so the consistency is drastically thrown off. But luckily for me, I don't shoot that fast. I have now purposely set my NXT to shoot slow. Thank you for the replies, Rob

Jarred, if you're experiencing that much drop off, i'm wondering if the output pressure is too low on your regulator. How many shims and which shims do you have inside your regulator?

Just purchased a Zodiac ZR-1, so it needs a mid range reg for my air tank. Can I put a Ninja Regulator GS Series SMP Super Mid Pressure 4500 on my Crossfire 68/4500 tanks ?

Thanks

I got a Ninja 68/4500 tank a few months ago and used it last month for the first time, filled it 2-3 times that day, all went well. Later that evening when I was at work, my sister called and said the tank started leaking. I checked it out next time I went playing and found that the 1.8k burst disk blew out. I was going to just replace the disk, but a few guys said that I might need to have the regulator rebuilt. Is this usually the case or can I just replace it and go ahead and play? It is still under warranty as well.

Also, will you be open this President's Day (Monday, Feb. 20th) in case I need to stop by at your Crystal Lake location to have it fixed.
