The black coating is there for cosmetic reasons only. It does not affect the performance or safety of your air system.

Hey Rob,

my 50-4500 started leaking in the crease between the bonnet and distributor body. I degassed and took things apart, but didn't notice anything off, everything was lubed and clean. Anything in particular to look for? Thanks in advance.

Hey jcmd. If its leaking between the bonnet (top half of the reg) and the bottom half of the regulator, a good cleaning and relube will generally take care of the leak. The only other thing you can check is the ball seat on the end of the piston shaft to see if there are any flat spots or indentations or other damage to it. It should be round. If its leaking in the area you described, the only thing that can cause it to leak there are the piston orings or white ball seat at the end of the piston shaft

50/4500
Length: 9 1/8" from the bottom of the bottle to the top of the regulator

68/4500
Length: 10 7/8" from the bottom of the bottle to the top of the regulator

You might also want to take a look at our 45/4500, depending on which marker you shoot.

45/4500
Length: 10 1/2" from the bottom of the bottle to the top of the regulator. This is also our lightest system. If you have a spoolie, you might want to look at a larger volume bottle

Hope this helps

Ninja Adjustable Reg Leaking

Just purchased a mimja reg about 3 days ago new from a local shop.

Brought it home screwed in to my nt ran about a loader and a half through it, when the reg started to leak.

It seems to be leaking between the bonnet and reg body.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to swap my stock ninja reg for a SLP reg and for the life of me I can not get the reg off my tank. I have tried strap wrenches, heating it up, etc....

Any suggestions?

It looks like my 68/45 has a crack near the reg...you can feel it with your finger. I can't tell if it's just a crack in the resin with dirt in it or what. It goes about halfway around the neck of the bottle. The tank is fairly new, I bought it a couple months ago from ans. I've never dropped it, landed on it, etc. It may be nothing, but better safe then sorry.

EDIT: Added better pics

Thanks, I just took some with my iphone and they came out way better. I put them in place of the old pics. Sad, I know, my phone takes better pictures than my camera.

Older style with 2 flat spots = 5/64

HEX style = 7/16

Just recieved a ninja 50/45 in a trade and the black coating on the tank has a chip and a crack. It doesnt look like the damage has affected the clear resin or carbon fiber wrap. I was just curious if this crack/chip would affect the integrity of the tank or if it was purely cosmettic. sorry if this is a repeat question.

Thanks in advance.

sorry for the margin rape on the pics

If you do not have the proper tools or have never swapped a regulator before, I would highly recommend taking your air system to a local store or field to have them perform the work or you can ship it direct to us.

Hello, I just bought an Invert Mini and I'm really interested in getting a Ninja carbon tank for the lightest and tightest setup possible. Which tank would you recommend?

Looking for a tank for myself since I have been very happy with my son's Ninja 45. Came across a store on Ebay selling a Ninja 68/4500 in an awesome blue color. They claim it is a geniune Ninja tank. Was wondering if these are legit?
