Ok I'm looking for a new marker. But I've owned an ego and a ripper victory and I'm looking to get into spoolies. I've been checking out clones. But the luxe ,nt and dm r there too. Im shooting about 5 or 6 dye lock lids a game and at the most 7. I need a smooth quiet gun. And I want one with little barrel rise. Efficiency is necessary.

The luxe looks good and all but it looks like it kicks really bad and I've shot one before and it didn't impress me. Why do I feel like people buy them out of the hype that the gun talks -_-

My friend just got a v2 clone and it has a massive regulator leak. hes going to need to rebuild it, or possibly send it back to macdev so they can find out what is wrong with it. I've shot the clone, its not bad at all. Minimal kick very quite, good efficiency. Just VERY VERY finicky. Once my friend get its working while its gassed up he cannot degas it or let it go below 1000 psi or the reg will start to leak again.

Another one of my teammates had an NT 10 for a little bit. Its just like the clone minus the reg problem. Just has more kick. But keep in mind the NTs are TINY imo smaller than a mini from grip to grip. The clone is a much better feel. again thats my opinion.

Are you interested in looking at a geo? I've seen them shoot they are very quite, maybe just a little louder than the clone. They seem like they can take a beating, and the size looks decent.

I'm not one for smalls guns, idk if you are but if you liked your ego and victory i would suggest either the clone or geo. Just be very careful with the clone

Most markers can be set up correctly. DM/PM up to 8 with an eigenring and correct tuning will get great efficiency. DM9+ with the upcoming eigenring for them and tuning. NT can get pretty good. Clone VX is great. The new Zodiac should be great since it's based on a Quest engine and that was for the longest time the best efficiency spool made.

Can't say personally, but heard the Demon gets great efficiency. I like how it shoots, but never used one for long enough to test efficiency.

clone for sure. i play back sometimes and i get 4 pods and a hopper off of my 45/45. i love it, yes the bolt is a little bit more complicated but once you get the hang of that it will be no big deal. i have had 3 clones and the first one i was a little nervous because the bolt does have many pieces. id say get a clone. you will be happy. the only thing that i would change would be the trigger. its not great for semi but it get the job done. im just trying to be picky and tell you how i feel. hope this helps

Not interested in geo's even though I love planet eclipse. They aren't efficient enough

I would definitely ignore anything except MacDev if you're looking for efficiency. That's like MD's main trait, everything they make is uber efficient. An ex-teammate used to shoot a Droid and it had the cleanest shot of any marker I've ever used. When shooting it literally sounded and felt like it was out of air because the cycle was so soft, you couldn't hear it or get any kind of kick out of it. MD all the way

Another teammate of mine has a dm9, i must say it was a pretty good gun, crisp shot, quite, and it seemed efficient. Minimal kick also

I shoot a Dangerous Power Rev-I right now and it's been serving me well. I just dropped in the techt engine and it shoots smooth and very quiet as compared to the stock bolt.

Once it gets broken in, I'm looking for about a hopper and ~7-8 pods.

Dye/Proto is where it is at then. Lol.

I would try for a PM8 and EigenRing it then.

Shockers with Eigenbolts and proper oring fitment should also be extremely efficient.

I used my Demon this past weekend for 7 man and got 7 pods and a hopper off 3000 psi. I can get 10 off a full tank.

Any newer spool will be efficieint enough to shoot 7 pods and a hopper.
