also note, I went a size up with the adjustment orings (once they're set, they shouldn't move. I'm not worried about friction) and that seems to work well.

Yep, the techs are right. if the marker is shooting by itself, it's because the reg is overpressurizing. take the bottom tip off the reg and remove the adjuster screw (remember that it's reverse threaded). replace the top oring.
It's not the upper oring, the HPR top hat has an adjustable piston inside the top that mixes the LP and HP side of the reg. this piston is adjusted from the top of the reg and adjustments are as followed if when marker is aired up and bolt just slams forward and air is dumping out of every hole in the marker. This means that the HPR's mixer is not adjusted correctly and needs attention. Mainly at times when servicing your reg. ( should be adjusted at factory)
How to adjust.
Remove the hpr reg from the marker completely assembled. At the top of the HPR reg, down inside you will see an 1/8" allen slot. That is the top of the mixer piston that you will be adjusting. To adjust this start from all the way out (counter clockwise) till just snug. To adjust correctly, turn the allen 1/4 turn's (clockwise) at a time not to exceed 3/4 of a turn as this will decrease your velocity adjuster's range of adjustment. While turning your Mixer piston in 1/4 turn at a time test each time between ech adjustment. Once you have the mixed adjusted correctly you will never have to adjust it again. Set it and forget it, these should be Pre set from the factory but if you feel as you want to tear down the marker this will help with setting the reg or any issues as such in the future.
Saw one at the field today, didnt shoot it but it was definitely quiet, right on par with your luxes and what not. Seemed to shoot well, and the player couldn't be more happy with it. To rich for my blood however.
Took mine to sc village today and let people put a pod through it and filmed their reactions and opinions on it. Will have the video up tomorrow after I render it.

video is processing on youtube right now so by the time most of you see this post it should be done. also it should be able to be viewed in 1080p hd. if you can't either i messed up rendering the video or it hasn't finished processing on youtube yet.
So far I'd still buy a GT from what I've seen video wise. I'd like to play with one before I make an opinion though. Either way, no one likes the price lol

Should upload one with players using it for a whole game, and then getting a review, to me a kid shooting it for a few seconds, does not really bring any value to the table. I would also have liked to see them using theirs and switching back and forth even at the table.
But nicely done anyways, gives some value with some of the people actually giving a pro and cons to it.
for an unbiased video. More people should do that.

I have followed this thread for a while but haven't read all 88 pages so I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet or not but i feel like I saw something a while back considering 2 different versions, one being more affordable and coming with less extras, that would be a great idea, this marker and all it's extras are well worth $1650 but if I have a barrel kit and hopper I like I would prefer the option to not pay for those items
Seems as this has been put on the back burner for the launch of the marker. At this time nothing has been released to me from mike about a streamline Vapor.
But i do agree as alot of players today love their hoppers and a Single barrel so i do see a need for this streamline Vapor.
