I just bought those window trim pieces BNIB off some guy on NWP for my EG. I paid $160 for both of the driver and passenger window pieces and thin side moldings(the ones that run from the fender to rear quarter panel)

Are you kidding me? I never tried going to the dealer, but the only places I found online they were like $50-70 each. If I can get em for 25 at a dealer I'm going over tomorrow morning.

Mine looked even worse than the ones posted. I started peeling the stuff off with a razor at first, got one mostly done and just said screw it and painted both of them. They still look just fine to me, pretty terrible up close, but any farther than 4ft and nobody notices. Nobody has ever even said anything at all actually. Figured it would hold it over until I actually found some and it has.

alright well maybe i was off a little. BTW i have only bought trim for a CRX.

I paid $27 for the verticle door moldings a piece, and about 38 for the horizontal actual window trim.

this was abut 3 years ago from Hondapartsnow.com and hondaautomotiveparts.com

I bought every trim piece still available for the CRX.

Well that's a good deal either way. It definitely varies for every model though. I've got an EM1 and the dealer quoted me $85 each for the window trim, I said no thank you lol.

personally I like the RT615's, but if you are making a lot of horsepower and want to drive it on the street I would get some drag radials, and be easy on the launches. drag radials tend to brake things on hondas without proper preload, and a hard shock to the drivetrain.

at that hp level, first and second are really pointless on any street tire. even a drag radial you are going to light up in first and second.

My buddy's ek hatch at 508 blows the tires off till middle of third if he shifts hard from second. This is on I think a 255/55/16 Mickey thompson radial. It is a 26" radial.

A lot of variables with trying to hold power with tires with that high of hp.

I ran some BFG 205/40/16 on my car and it would try its hardest to break traction in 5th. The car on a 4 lane highway would want to jump lane to lane when I got on it. Pretty scary and never got traction in any other gear so I sold them and got some Nitto Neo Gens in 205/45/16 and it was a world of a difference. Just by the height of the tire the car acted 10x better and I could actually just hook and go when I hit 4th gear.

The M/T's 255 are decent...if you want your car to look like a retarded monster truck.. Buddy had some on his hatch and none of us liked the look, but then again he was making 631 driving around on the street. Funny to watch him leave parallels at 60 mph though with them.

Need some advice guys.
Guy wants 1000 OBO for a 94 integra LS (all power options work)
****tily painted flat white (only really bad in door jambs)
NO AC
NO PS
Lowering springs
Needs a cat-back exhaust (already has a dc sports header/dp)
Short ram intake
Needs seats and rear carpet
Rad is on a switch
(To me these are all "easy fixes")

Claims to have a new b18 in it. It looked fresh and started and ran amazingly strong.
Interior dash/panels/doors/carpet are in good shape no broken trim.

Now here is the real issue
The car is stuck in gear and can not be taken out of gear or put in any other gear by the shifter, is this just cables/linkage? I let the clutch out a little in whatever gear it was in (assuming 2/3) and the clutch grabbed fine. Or does this sound like a blown trans?

Shortly after i left he texted me "I'm willing to come down on the price"
He is in a rural area and i don't foresee much competition over the car. I was thinking if i could pay 4-500 for it i could fix it up and daily drive it instead of my ka-t 240 it would be worth it.

sounds like the pedal may be adjusted wrong, bad throwout bearing, or at worst the trans. but I would kind of guess the pedal, without looking at it cant really tell.

for 4-500 i would buy it probably and see what if its simple. if not part it out.

Just awaiting arrival of the HR Shifter box still.

Might save up and buy a random *** 2nd car so I'm not struggling to get into work. Then save some more money up to spend it all on the car stuffs!
