After some advice here guys in regards to wheel fitment - the offset.

This is for a Civic EG hatch back.

Wheel size: 15x7"
Tyres: 195/50/15
Offset's available: 15 / 23 / 25 / 30

Out of those 4 offsets what would you run with? As I keep reading people using +40, while others say not to go higher then +35.

Thanks.

*edit* Just done a load more research, and will probably get them in +30.

15x7 + 40 is good i believe cuz I'm going 15x8 and everyone told me 15x8 + 34 works

Do the math.

offset means how far from the wheel's horizontal centerline its hub is, in millimeters. Let's say your car comes stock with a 6" wide wheel and + 30 offset. 6" = 15,24cm = 152,4mm. 152,4/2 + 30 = 106,2mm. That's the lenght of what is behind the hub. Now 7" = 178mm. 178/2+ 40 =119mm. That is roughly 10mm (or 1cm if you prefer) more than stock. Will that have some clearance issue with the suspension components ?

Yes, but I believe it's only got about 25k on it (unless the previous owner lied to me...which wouldn't be a shocker).

Do you know how to measure it?

i don't see any specs in the honda book for checking it. the only possibilities i see are that the chain is stretched or your chain guide on the right side is worn down

world cup finals was sick but due to a million bracket cars they didnt even come close to finishing the event how lame.

norris vs gavio was the race of the event for me.

my buddy alex would have done well in all motor. dropped a valve in the burnout box in the first round of qualifying.

staging duel faceoff
