So we have played two 3 man beginner tournaments and we are TRUE beginners who jumped into tourneys. We are decent, serious, and in fact, I'd say we're the best true beginners in both of our outings. But that's where I'm headed with this... Where or how can we get into TRUE beginner games? We placed 4th in our first tourney and lost to much more experienced teams. And the same kind of teams MURDERED us in our second one. How do we get away from these sand baggers that come in for the easy prizes? Can we?

Sorry to burst your bubble but you cant get away from them, there were all ways sand baggers and there will always be sandbagers. You guys just need to run a lot of drills at practice and practice once a week. When you win a tourney or two and you guys feel good finish out the season strong and move up in division.

Appreciate it man. I think its helping the decline of paintball though. My team will continue to hit it hard and advance as we should, but the other true beginners that come out to those tourneys and get completely blasted aren't looking to get back in there and do it again. It's a sad part of the sport that apparently won't be going away. Any other opinions?

Find a different field, Practice hard!! If you have played them 2 times, you should no their weakness and practice to exort there weakness!

Practice. I have the drills Dynasty runs posted up at RejectsPB. You will get better but we all take our lumps in the beginning. I spent years with an A-5 playing against Angles (back in the day), Shockers, and Auto Cockers. I took a beating but every game I played I got better.
