i just ordered purple deity composites! lololol. my pedals are like 10+ years old and the studs are never comming out so i figured its new pedal time. also got some orange grips, so my bike will be gay as **** with a green/purple/orange/yellow/teal scheme, but its funny when people give a hoot about other peoples equiptment.

did you have to go through jenson usa? chainreaction didnt have them in stock, never ordered from jenson before.

yea, I went through Jenson. First time dealing with them but the pedals + slap guard put me over the $50 free shipping threshold. The "newcust12" code took five dollars off so I sat at $50.19

I like the fact that they're more than plastic...they're nylon! I've heard of these things taking a serious bashing and still remaining intact.

next week i'm gonna be purchasing some red ESI chunkys.

I think you'd be surprised, I've gotten packages from oversees in 3 days before.

Hmmm I'm tempted to buy these now but do I really want to spend $48 on pedals that will probably snap in a week with the way I abuse my bike

read their reviews on mtbr. People put these pedals through hell and back and they stand the test.

I may give them a try then. I'm going back to a street setup with 3 pegs and no brakes when I ride again but with how I am that will probably last a week before I go back to two pegs and brakes so I can do tire tap tricks again because I suck at using pedal pressure to do them. I ride so much better without brakes yet I insist on using them, it's so weird.

poc helmets are the best! i absolutey love my fullface. and id say it paid for itself the first day wearing it after slamming into a tree, shooting over a burm, and a few other falls haha.

way cheaper than an ER visit thats for sure. hope you like it!

if you ride rough terrain in canada id look into 160mm travel. if you live near more tame terrain, 120mm should feel pretty nice.

it's all stock
this is a whole new world to me. while i'll understand a bit of what you say through the bmx world, you'll still loose me.
it's an all stock frame right now. i'd say the vast majority (in my eyes because i know there's worse out there) will be timid trails. if i do end up in northern ontario, i know those trails are a little rougher.
but to my understanding, i can adjust these fork to those types of terrain?

yeah you can adjust the fork. id say 120mm of suspension would be fine especially with a 29inch wheel. but again, its all preference so best bet is to just try other peoples bikes and see what works for you. posting pictures can help a lot too! i love 29inch bikes for just riding around. they are sooooo smooth.

ordered purple. box came labeled purple, green pedals were in the box.

im gonna call them back, order another set over the phone, verify they are the right color, beg and plead for upgraded shipping, and send the others back with receipts for refunds.

EDIT___ they are just shipping me the right set out and said "at no charge out of good faith" that i am gonna send the pedals back. so thats pretty cool. hitting up UPS in the morning, as well as NAPA autoparts.

Scott i think im gonna go to arlington when im done working on my miata.
