I received my replacement manifold from vanguard( thanks a lot guys).

Included was a full drivetrain and a reg.

Are these the new problem fixing parts?

I changed out the drive train as my current one was giving first shot stick.
the original had a gold bolt and gold powercore.

The new one has gold bolt and a silver power core.

Question one:
What is the color on the newest parts ?

Q 2:
How can i tell the difference between regs? or is there only one?

Q 3:

Since i put in the new drive train my marker started kicking like a mule. It was running a little hot at first , but after turning down to 280-290 fps it is still kicking noticably.
How can i reduce this ? or should i go back to the other drive train and fix the first shot bolt stick?

The drive train you received is to repair the FSDO and bolt stick. The gold can with gold bolt is different in a few ways. The can as you may see is a tighter fit to bolt. By the naked eye you can not tell.
The bolt eill have longer slots in it so after the dump the fire chamber with charge much faster.

The HPR is the same.

What dwell are you runing?
Also lube?
These 2 items make a huge differance in how the marker will feel.

My dwell is as i received it (14.5 ms)
I am using dow 33. (monkey poo)

It feels like it has barrel rise currently.

well since the Power core is brand new. I would give it a case to seeif it calms down.
you may be trying to compair to a Borken in drive train. Yes it may have more kick but it will calm down im sure.

If you are are really concerned i wou install old drive train and see if you still he the issue.

When you reveived the items from the UK did you lube the Bolt yourself? or did you leave the lube that was installed on it from the factory?

I wiped down the new bolt (quick wipe with tissue paper) to remove the green sticky stuff , and relubed it all.

I will run some cases through it and see.

Cant really compare it to any others , as i have the only one i know of in south africa. sigh ... hehehe
