what should i use to lube my t8.1 oil or dow 33 grease?

I'm thinking it should be oil but the tube the bolt sits around feels rough which is usually to help hold on to grease. so i put it up to the TA forum

Oil. Most greases tend to start to freeze up when CO2 gets into the equation. Same reason why if you live in colder climates you run a thinner oil in the engine of your car.

If you're not a fan of the rough feeling of the powertube, just polish it. A lot of people polish the bolt and powertube anyway to help get a little increase in efficiency.
