Update**

I've begun working on a final 3.0 release as of last night. No official release date yet but I'm going to be putting a few hours a day into this program. Expect another update in a few days.

@jer - I am currently working on a cross-platform version of this game. I haven't posted yet because it's about 60-70% done, the groundwork is done and I'm currently working on the AI.

Once I post it, I don't need anything like your macbook, but I'll need some ppl to beta test. I don't have any of the original files so my version is built from the ground up by me, and I laid the infrastructure for some sweet upgrades in the future (multiplayer, leaderboards, tournaments, and possibly even maybe full cross platform development aka ios/android)

a lot of that depends on support that I get though - I'm currenlty not using team names/gun brands 'cause I might end up asking for donations and don't want to infringe on copyrights, but there're big plans in the works

dasein, sounds great, I thought about re-creating this for iOS/Android a couple years ago but never found to side time to do so.

Lmk if you need any help with hosting, maybe creating a website for launch & testing, i'd be more than happy to throw some resources your way.

I just haven't had the time to commit to finishing this like I had hoped. Maybe the new year will be different, but for now it's still 2.9.

I predict the final release will just be a graphical update and not much more as far as functionality. All I originally set out to do was to make this game compatible for Windows Vista/7, which I accomplished.

I'll make an official post sometime this weekend, with screenshots and maybe some kind of playable demo. I can't make any promises though, my birthday's tomorrow and there will be some prolonged drinking that takes priority over programming.

@WDP don't worry about it, even graphics updates (which i'm the worst at) is tough, re-writing functionality, adding different things etc etc are really time intensive. I'm between jobs at the moment so it turns out I have time to kill <_<
