Got this bike for about $330, it was an Amazon lightning deal. I just wanted a basic beginner mountain bike, probably going to be riding on the street the majority of the time anyways. I'm also rebuilding an older Trek rigid frame mountain bike for like $50 locally at this nonprofit bike repair shop. Guess I'll ride both and see how I like them.

Now to finally buy a real router.

I almost got hit yesterday while I was riding to class to the point where I had to bail on the ****ing side walk. Some girl was on her phone and just casually rolled through a stop sign. I dont even think she noticed me fall or anything. Cut my knees up, fell on my gimp hand (one I got stitches in) I got to class and I was bleeding everywhere so I just got pissed and left. Horrible way to start a day off

Ive been riding almost every day for the past 5 months and that was my first "accident". **** happens I guess

when I was still at UCSB I had to book it to a couple of classes, weaving in front of the friend duos who decided to ride alongside each other and chat. it's a miracle I never killed anyone but what was I supposed to do when my required GEs were over a mile apart with just a few minutes to get there and lock up?

should have put full size brembos on my bike or something; would have helped.

Just saw Interstellar, it was ridiculous, don't even know if I liked it or not.

Spoiler maybe

It's pretty strange when less of the movie made sense AFTER they entered a intergalactic wormhole.

I had that happen in the same way, but i some how stayed on my bike, rear wheel was bent so bad I couldn't ride back. I flipped her off and she drove off, had a long walk home.
