A Lizotte is a clan from up north - Leominster I believe.

Q: In 187's mind, what would be ideal in terms of what comes out of all of this talk of merger between PSP and NPPL. ie: format, field size, roster size etc. What do you guys want to see? The same format that you have done so well in..or something different.

Q: Realizing you're a new professional team, can you guys see yourself forming some kind of feeder team in the future to mold/sculpt players into future roster spots to fill voids on the team?

Ryan,

The ideal merger (if it happens) for me would be the PSP format as it is today. I can see some minor changes happening, but I believe that with the Race-To format the best team wins 90+% of the time. If you let it come down to one point, one call, then you missed your opportunities in other points.

As for a feed team – we’ve been discussing the idea. We just need to figure out how to make it work financially.

When I say industry I am talking about companies. Do you think this will make companies want to expand more to the eat coast from the west coast, especially if 187 is successful in the pro division.

First off congrats on making it to the pro's. Since i think i know, but am not sure, how long has 187 been a team for? I think i remember seeing you guys for the first time at the 05 or 06 NEPL at CCPB.

And 2nd question--- How did you guys come together to be 187? Have you all played together since the beginning of the team, or are you guys made up from a bunch of disbanded teams? I know Ntran has been on a few teams and i think Bmoney was on armegeddeon when we were in 5 and 7 man but im not sure.

Ill let Dave answer the first part...but for 2nd question..

there was a merger between the original 187 team who now would be Eddie and Shaun left, with another team from the area which now holds Carlin, Nick and Max.

BJ, Noel, and Myself all came from Armageddon (5man and 7man) as well as Dan Z towards the end.

ONe summer I answered a looking for players add with Plattsburg negligence (AXBL) I told them I could get a full line together, they accepted and we took 6 or 7 players from both armageddon and 187 to go play each event (our first experience playing xball). The orignal owner sold the team control over to Dave, where we went on to win the AXBL minors that year...and then followed the year with the same roster as upTon 187 cRew in the AXBL thus staring our xbal careers full tilt. we added a few players such as Dougie for that year.

while our roster has changed a bit here and there (adding or losing a player as time went on) we are 90% the same with the addition of Gregg from MAO last year on.

as a whole even though we were 187 and armageddon we were still sister teams and played together a ton at fox4.

So…At my age the dates tend to blend together – I’ll do my best to give you an accurate outline of where we came from.

The team started out as a 3-man team called Kamo Killerz - they played three man for most of 2004 and by the end of the season they were playing 5-man. They started off 2005 playing 5-man and finished the season playing 7-man in the NEPL. They also played 7-man at the NPPL Miami event.

In 2006 the name was changed to 187 cRew and they played the entire NEPL season. At the end of the season the team merged with Friendly Fire Factory and created what is now the core of the team.

In 2007 187 cRew was crowned the Division II NPPL champions. While they didn’t win any events they did finish in the top 4 most every event. The NPPL forced the team to bump up the following year and we played D I NPPL events for the entire 2008 season. This was not the best year for the team in terms of national events.

Josh - No, I don't believe any companies will migrate east based upon our turning pro.
