I bought an SLG as a back-up/loaner for friends and it was working fine for a little bit and all of a sudden it started to screw up.

What's happening is:
1st trigger pull: Shot
2nd trigger pull: Nothing
3rd trigger pull: Shot
4th trigger pull: Nothing

I took the entire thing apart and cleaned everything out and re-lubed it. It has a fresh out of the package brand name battery in it. I was using an electric hopper so there was a ball in the breach each time I fired. Dry firing the gun seems to work (as I can hear the noid click each time I pull the trigger).

What could this possibly be? I usually service my own guns and I don't want to take it into my local shop because they charge $25 just to tell you what's wrong with the damn thing..

have you tried turning the eyes off and shooting it (wit air)? try that without paint, if it works then try it with paint., if that works then its your eyes or possibly roll back, click the "slg bolt roll back" link in my sig
