it took 3 days to fix my 17-35, and was wayyyy cheaper than what the local guy was charging.... and came back like new....

I can get a D800 with a grip (putting it around 7fps) or a used D3S (nikon pro body) with a new shutter. Opinions?

gonna wait till next century for a d800? i doubt the grip will even push it pass 6fps if that....
plus, who really needs 36mp's?
stick with the d300s for a while.... |

4000+ or 5100 + jeez the d800 is prolly delayed because of the flooding in Thailand, why the need for a d3s video? If no buy a d3 just as good an fast

we have a platonic relationship, friends.
As far as the "need VS want," my two choices are the ones i listed. The D3S is my bosses secondary and is in good condition. It's also why my options don't include a basic D3.
