Help with my Pumped Autococker please!!

If this has been talked about before im sorry. I have been looking all over for answers. I am a complete beginner to the pump game and I just picked up a WGP 2k+ with a hinge frame that has been pumped. When I cock the gun each time after i pull the trigger a bunch of air rushes out of the barrel. When i pump the gun again it stops, pull the trigger air rushes out of the barrel until I pump it again. What could be the problem with my gun?? I make sure the gun is pumped when i first turn on the air but it still does it regardless.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

short answer is that with what you have, not enough pressure is closing the valve. long answer see post above.

you might be low on gas - try a full tank to see if this will hold the valve closed. if not, read on:

assuming the previous own sprung the gun right then try this:
1) back out your IVG until flush w/ back of gun
2) bring your pressure up until you max out your velocity w/ reg alone (velocity will go up, max out, level off, and then go back down)
3) adjust IVG to bring velocity up to 270-280fps.

I always just put a new spring in it and adjusted the reg pressure
