Etha and tourney paint?
I'm considering getting an Etha for playing tournaments with and I was wondering if it could handle tournament paint without turning in to a blender? Would the Techt bolt help? Thanks in advance.

I've had several members of my team have Ethas and shoot Evil without any issues, you'll be fine with it stock

Awesome that's what I wanted to hear, I was debating between the Etha and the SL74. I know they are completely different in terms of the valve types and one being a super high end and one is an entry level marker, but they are around the same price.

The techt bolt will not help. I had no luck with the techt bolt and fragile paint.

Ok well I've read about quite a few people having issues with the Techt bolt, but do you mean the Etha in general has issues with fragile paint? If so I will probably just go with the SL74 or Darq Marq

I was shooting marbelizer paint and it shot very smooth right out of the box first day. Some say this is an entry level marker but I beg to differ out of its performance. It will hold its own stock with the high ends on any field

The Etha will put what paint you have, where you want it, when you want it. At least assuming that your loader tension isn't too high (shouldn't be an issue at this day and age), that your paint isn't broken going in, or that you're not trying to use summer paint on a 45 degree day (because then everything breaks).

Well my last tournament I shot Marballizer in my 06 Dark with Cure4 with no issues, so if the Eha can handle it I am sold! I want a new marker and I love PE so this is great news!

That's great and I have a .685 Shaft4 back so I think the Etha would be a great marker to have, it will be quieter than my Dark and around the same efficiency. I think I will pick up a new Etha soon and see how it does in the tournament. If I have any issues I can always use my Dark.

Ok cool, well I think I might the Etha over The geo+ since I will get a warranty and it would be nice to have a new marker again. I've heard that the Violent trigger for the Etha has more side to side play than the stock trigger, which I hope is fixable since I love the Violent Trigger on my 06 Dark. I've also heard Lurker talk about making bolts for the Etha which would be awesome, since he makes markers pretty awesome from what I've seen.

The stock Etha trigger is just orgasmic if you set it up right. Easily my favorite stock trigger in paintball.

Well I'm pretty much sold on the Etha, after I get paid tomorrow I will have enough for it. I messed with one at the shop and it definitely needs the trigger adjusted, but I'm pretty good at setting them up. I already have a .685 Shaft4 back and a pops Asa I can use on it too.
