Looking for a new HD camera

Im looking for something that can take being shot by paintball, go in salt water, and get dropped and still work.

Im down to two. GoPro hero and Contour gps.

Im looking to onput on these. If you have used them, what did you think?

I have a gopro and love it. Im sure you know, but if you dont, remember that it doesnt have a view finder or anything to look through so you are guessing where exactly you are shooting at until you get the hang of it. Its perfect for recreational sports and things of the like

Did you pick a camera? If so, which one did you get and why? I would like to get a camera also.

Another option that'll take a licking is the
Tachyon XC micro.

A few of players used them during D-Day
without any problems. They feature a simple
mounting system, plus they're also waterproof
and impact resistant.

You can check them out, as well as watch a
few clips showing how they perform here -

This was suggested to me...

What are your likes and dislikes about it?

They're smaller than the Go Pro, but they
lack a 'live' output capability, which means
you have to plug them in afterwards to see
what you've recorded. They used to also
offer a wireless remote with one of their
models, but I'm not sure if they still do.
Finally, I do see they've come out with a
low cost version, which may be all you're
looking for, as opposed to one of their
higher price models. Again, check their
site for more information.

Sincerely,
