Recovering Data off Smashed Iphone 4?

So my iphone 4 is completely smashed. When I plug it into my computer it still reads it though and makes that beep noise. Then Itunes comes up and says its locked since I have my password on it. I know my password but can't put it in since my iphone is completely smashed. I need some important data in the notes section on my phone. Is there anyway I can get it? Ive been researching at night for the passed couple nights but all I get are programs that claim they do it but have viruses.

Thanks

I ran into this awhile back and couldn't find anything that would retrieve it. Even the Diskaid program wouldn't do it. Hopefully there's something out there now.

I don't know if there is a software alternative but you could always buy a replacement digitizer and temporarily swap the connectors to the pcb.

if it makes noise and the computer recognizes it, there's still hope. might be worth asking at the apple store, not sure if they have any fancy back-door software, or if they'd even do it for you.

Replace the digitizer if the information is really that important to you. Apple might have a way to bypass the password but I doubt it.

Definitely take it to an Apple Store. They might have software to get your data off.

idk, password on the iphone is pretty much a lock down if you cant enter it. replacing the digitizer may be your only bet but your talking 60-100 dollars depending where it's done
