It's more of a minor inconvenience than a major deal you have to take it to the shop for. ****, I'd probably do the whole thing in the Autozone parking lot, if I could.

Front or rear of the car? If its the front, take off the caliper (whole set-up). Use an impact hammer to remove the screws holding on the rotor, remove rotor, knockout stud, replace stud.

I've had the studs on my kia break. Cost me like 40 bucks to fix, and took lik ean hour tops.

i broke a stud on the wheel spacers on my truck so ive been running it 5 lug for the past 2 years, plowing and everything... no problems

rear. drum brakes. my mom went to napa, picked up some new studs, took them over to the mechanics that work on the school buses, and they did it while she was on her route. only cost her a home-made pizza.

our compressors ****ed up and wont go over 30psi. but yes, we have an impact wrench.

also, its my ******* sister's car, why would i go out of my way to fix it? my parents are footing the bill, they can afford it.
