This is kind of what I'm talking about here. A tangent gets started, and then it's three pages before it dies off. There are places for this - we call it Small Talk. There's even a very thriving firearms discussion thread in OSST. We've already bent a bit from the original intention here in Clubs. Originally, the idea was that a club would have a topic, and should stick to that topic (Intimidators in here, for anyone who may have forgotten). We relaxed that a little bit to broaden it to paintball related, with some occassional OT, but the majority was still to be paintball related. So, it doesn't seem over the top here to ask that the topics be paintball related at the very least.
I don't like the idea of giving a whole club warnings over the actions of a couple people, or having to close a club for that same problem. If it continues, expect infractions.
Sweet - which one are you going with?
|
We can go with whichever one you like. The point is you ask that we keep it paintball related, and there was paintball related content in those posts. It's pretty ****ing obvious what's going on here, and I thought the mods as a whole had sort of let bygones be bygones (for a price of course!) but it appears that maybe you didn't get your cut. Sorry, you might want to take that up with whoever didn't have your paypal info.
I was almost tempted to go through all your posts and see how many of these cheesy *** warnings you've posted on other clubs that also have OT in them, but that would just be a waste of time, because like I said, it's pretty damn clear what's going on here. If you want to take it out on the club, or even me, go for it, be the smaller man I know you are and infract/ban me. It's clear that you're just looking for an excuse to do either one.
Your move.

this post makes me feel like daddy just hit mommy at the dinner table and now the kids are not sure what to do.....
can't we all just get along? If there is in fact a background story to this i would like to suggest that the moderators/admins/owners of this site take this up with Larry on a personal basis. I do not want to see this club purposely be targeted for infractions/bans due to a personal issue. We have had no issues in the last year roughly and now suddenly we have an issue.
We will make sure we try to stay paintball related and let the chips fall where they may.

This.
If it's personal, please dont let it affect the thread, we're trying to stay on topic, but at times we go OT, as does everyone, and this isn't helping tons either

My question is why do we need more than 1 mod? Sonic knows how this place works, and if **** gets excessive he let's us know. Ya there is off topic, but guess what, the majority of the users in this club are over 20 I would assume. We're not 15 with nothing more in our lives but paintball and highschool. I trust 90% of the guys in here more than any one person posting in OT, I know that if I ask a question, be it paintball or whatever, ill get an answer that will come from someone who probably knows more about what you're talkin about than the average wikipedia expert. Go into any off topic thread, you may have a 30% serious answer rate. Most everyone in here knows one another, people give each other **** for facebook posts/pics and choice of wearing their GFs pants and drinkin starbucks.
If you have a problem with larry, come right out and say it. I'd rather see "I have a problem with larry because ______" than this beating around the bush crap. Say it, take care of it like a man, and get over it. If he pissed in your wheaties smack him, pour out your bowl and get a new one. We went on without issues for the entire time larry was gone, had huge off topic discussions and you even joined in. I know **** will happen however people decide to handle it, but it would be nice to just get it over with.
That's my last post on this pissing match. Ya I can see if 4 whole pages were off topic with nothing about paintball. But we could quote you and change ur posts to "off topic post about being off topic".

This matter has been brought to the attention of site admins that I believe are impartial. To avoid getting this thread shut down, we should not give Pump Scout another reason to close this thread, so I suggest we stop discussing this matter in the thread.
TL;DR- YOU'VE BEEN REPORTED TO THE CYBER POLICE, AND THE STATE POLICE. CONSEQUENCES WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.

You better have enough ammo for me. I would treat it as no different than paintball. 2000 + rounds on me at all times.... lol
Speaking of police, looks like the 23rd will just be the Sherrif Department and first responders, no City or State guys. Oh well, they will experience the LA shootout first hand when going up against me.

carrying 2000 rounds of 5.56 is a bit heavier than 2000 rounds of paintballs....but I don't want to talk about ammo, because it could be interpreted as OT

Boom. I see what you did there lol
Back on topic now...my bad. I like the field layout. I'm going to set up my home field like that, well as best as I can anyway. It looks fun and has a fairly simple snake run.

That's what the fields around me used to do. As soon as the layouts came out they'd set em up exact, it was nice to get some practice on the layouts.

so i think when it is all sold i will have made about $300 on the parts i have aquired and held on to for as long as 5 years.. I am still not going to sell any of my KAPP rams though, those things are better than any after market ram ever made for the timmy as far as i am concerned....
