microsoft would it kill you to make an xbox that doesnt break so often
I have gone through 4 xbox 360s in four years. What the **** Microsoft. Make one that actually doesn't **** up for once you *******s

2 ps3s here. At least MS covered the RROD. I'm having to shell out between 130 and 150 for both of these "repairs" aka send me refurbished unit.

yup. i finally broke down and bought a newer ps3 along with the 2 year warranty from walmart...god i hope it lasts 3 years... |

I don't understand how you guy break **** so quickly.
My PS2 and PS1 still work... Not that I ever use them, but still...
Hell I'm pretty sure if I dug out my Genesis and dusted it off I could play some General Chaos... |

We must be pretty lucky. I still have two (ones mine, one is my brothers) original 360's with no red rings. And then a huge pile of old consoles that also work. |

They don't make them the way they used to. My PS2 and N64 still work. Hell before we gave it away my original NES was still working over a decade after we had it.
Due to all the complex components they put in these things, something is more bound to **** up. |

Basically came in here to post that, systems like the SNES and n64 are ****ing tanks compared to the current generation, and OP just buy a slim, i havent had any issues since i bought that(went through 3 regulars)

I must have been on of the lucky few. Mine was made august of 2007, and has been run hard and it just finally went down this feburary. Now did i buy another one? No. I sold everything off and made the box good target practice. I wonder why some people seem to have xbox's that destroy themselves, and others have them that run for a lifetime.

My original 360 I got when they released lasted until this past summer when it finally RRoD. Bought a 250 gig slim and haven't had a single problem yet.

Been through 2 RROD's with mine. Past year or so it's been making some funky noises again but hasn't broke yet.
I too have every single previous console from every company and they all work fine. Except my Genesis 32x. That just now died

Had one rrod, got that fixed but I get E68 errors unless I unplug the video cable while the thing is booting up and then plug it back in. It's no wonder I don't use the stupid thing anymore.
