Ok fine Mr. No fun thread Nazi.
I personally think that bob makes a superior gun. 4C eyes are not a must as the performance increase you get from them is not enough to warrant the up grade. Neither is the OLED board as the stock board has all the settings you need to play any of the leagues in the states. The only thing you really need is a pressure tester. I personally wish they came with the gun so I'll agree with reaper that you have to pay for that.
However I think that the extra cost is worthwhile for what seams to be a more solidly built gun. I have yet to see anyone slide into a bunker a a tourney and break the stock barrel off any bob long gun. I have however seen this happen several time with vanguard guns in the same event.
Hey reaper can you recommend a good hopper?
Bet you a dollar he recommend a VL brand hopper

Just to be a pain in the *** and troll.. I think any marker over $1k should have an OLED included. Is the OLED needed absolutely not but if Im dropping over a grand for a marker I want all the bells and whistles. So in that regards I have to agree with Mike.
I have shot Vic's and they should FANTASTIC. Never shot a Vangard marker other than a few dry fires so I have no opinion on them good or bad. But after shooting a Clone and the Drone, I am in love with MacDev.
But its YOUR money. Get out there and try each gun before you spend your money. What anyone else likes is irrelevant to what you like. If your buying a gun because someone else says OMG BEST GUN EVER...You sir are an idiot. But Im sure that is not the case.

Amen, buy what you like. You're welcome to shoot mine to make a judgement regarding that particular brand.
Justin, as for the Hopper, I don't really know. I Don't like Rotors. I currently use a VLocity SF, leftover from a JT sponsorship, but I'm looking to replace it. I have been thinking about checking out the Valken VMax. So you only win 50c, I'll give you half credit for being right that I use a VL product, but take half away because I don't recommend it over anything else...except maybe over the Dye, but that's because I personally don't think a Dye is worth $200...that ridiculous.

Rotor's are definitely worth the 100 you can find them for. And IMO the Vmax looks like junk reaper, I have heard a lot of bad things about it. I would look into the Prophecy Z2 if you don't like rotors and want something new

We've had too many guys have negative experiences with the Prophecy...granted we haven't tried a Z2, so maybe.
And I generally don't judge things by a picture, or how they look, I reserve my judgement to actual performance.

Save your money an buy a used B2 or get a magna and put it in a halo shell. Basically the same thing.
I really like my rotar. Have had 2 with a very small amount of issues. But I agree that $200 is more than a little weak...
Honestely if I could find a revi with a good motor I would prob use that still.

Ok, so now I'm curious. What issues did you have with prophecies Reaper? I'm getting close to launching mine about 30ft if I break any more paint. I want to get a rotor but ya cant justify $200 for it and I prefer to buy new with my equipment so used is out. Hmm thread jack much hehe.

We had issues with sensitivity and breaking paint in the loader. I know they're adjustable, but it never seemed to work. We also had a lot of problems when they were RFed. If somebody else on the field had an RF chip, sometimes the loader would respond to both your marker and theirs. There is a toggle to turn that function off somehow, but you can't exactly run around a field asking everybody "Do you have an RF? Can you make sure it doesn't F with my loader? Great thanks!"
And Justin, I used to use a ReLoader B2, but thought they were heavy (Same as Halo). Once I moved to the VLocity, I really started to enjoy the simplicity and really light weight. That's part of the reason it's hard for me to leave.
The Rotors just seem to jam to frequently if they don't have the perfect shaped paint in them. They seem to have a narrow feed neck. I also hate the "fix" people always go to when you talk about them jamming..."just get the Virtue board with anti-jam" they say. If you pay $200 for a loader it had better work flawlessly and already have an anti-jam widgy majigy...

I have had issues jamming but 99% of the time it is because there is an excessive amount if dust dirt or some other gunk in the loader. Stupid speed feed.
