DYE NT11 need to warm up before reach 290++ chrono

every tournament i go, after setting up the marker and chrono, i noticed that my chrono is around 260fps +-10. after a few games it will slowly increase to 280++ and 290++. if i increase the pressure, later in the afternoon i'll get around 300++ chrono.

my settings is

dwell - 9
reg pressure - 102
mode - semi
no space
green bolt tip

my reg shims is = )()()()()()(

is this normal or is something wrong with my NT11?

What paint are you using? What state are you in? Whats your bore size?

If the outside temp increases, your paintballs will increase in size therefore making more contact with the inside of the barrel which will increase velocity. The warmer it gets the higher velocity you will get throughout the day, assuming that it is cold in the morning.

Stormbird: it is typical bro... I would normally chrono about 270 before 8am. By Noon it sits nicely about 290s. Keep your set-up and paint in the shade when not playing.

Yea and if you paint to bore match your going to encounter more of a problem with velocity fluctuation. If you under or over bore you will have less of a problem as the weather changes.
