If DICE put the proper development time into it I would guess you're right. The PS3 has the capability of blowing the XB360 out of the water graphically, but it's very cost prohibitive for multi-platform games to take advantage of that. It's much harder to design for, and the Online system isn't as nice as the XB360 (primarily because Microsoft has dumped crazy amounts into it because they can due to the yearly costs). It has the possibilities, though. I'd love for Sony to take a queue from Microsoft and redesign the entire PS3/PSN UI, and attract a bigger base of players (also include a damn headset already!).
Most of the big games are built on the XB360, and then ported to the PS3 and re-worked a bit. Hence why a lot of XPlatform games end up w/ weird PS3 bugs. If a company puts the money into the PS3 development, though, it can really shine. I hope they did that with this game.
The ONLY reason I didn't consider the PS3 copy is I prefer the XB360's LIVE system and most of my friends are there.
Games like Uncharted and inFamous really shine on the PS3 because they're designed solely for it, and why I keep mine around even though only a few people I know own one (Uncharted 3 next week!).
If anyone is getting the PS3 version I'd love to hear your thoughts on it after a few days of playing. Especially if you've played, or also have, the XB360 version. I'm curious to whether DICE put the money in the right place w/ the PS3.
