Your Personal Scenario Loadout

aside from the gun you carry or the boots you wear what are some of the other little tiny things that make the difference in certain situations for you guys? here is an example of a few of mine:

Walkie talkies (hopefully midland 40 channel ones soon, with head set)
A telescopic mirror, for looking up stairways or around bunkers
Action camera that mounts to either gun or helmet (amazon.com has contourHD)

BT paint gernades (x2)
"Big Smoke" smoke bombs (x2)

Multi tool allen wrenchs
microfiber cloth.....

AM I MISSING ANYTHING???

thats pretty awesome man. the rcxd is that functional? in otherwords remote actually detonates a charge?

and also how much and where can you get the spraymore landmines?

:Edit: nevermind found their website, pretty affordable and useful at that. I can think of a few places that would come in handy

A WATCH that is sinked with the insertion clock is almost required. Tells you when you can do a suicide run to break through a bunch of players and be back in 5 minutes. Also whether or not you want to walk or run to make the insertion window.

Peanuts are good salt replacement. Nobody mentioned camel back or water kept at the insertion point...

Allen wrenches on your person that would allow you to "dial a velocity" will get you ejected from a game. If you need repair tools, keep them at the insertion point and if you mess with your gun, ask the insertion ref or HQ ref to re-check you chrono speed.

Oh yeah! Have your gear and marker in good working order BEFORE the game, including the chrono speed already set. There is ALWAYS a long line of guys waiting to adjust their velocity. Be ready.

PRINT a copy of the rules, memorize them, and put them in a ziplock bag and carry it with you. Not infrequently the refs do not know the rules along with a bunch of other players. Don't be one of them. Find some local players that have played this game before. There are a LOT of things you CAN DO that aren't against the rules and things you should do that aren't in the rules. Nuances only the field veterans know.

Attend EVERY game briefing. There are always last minute rule tweaks, Q & A, etc.

Pre Register if you can. Get your credentials, paint, air Friday night if you can. It is a madhouse Sat morning.

I'm more of a speedball player so the only special things I bring for scenarios is some smoke grenades and a land mine that I got at cost from a friend. I also use my pinokio with the long nose and (sometimes) my Apex 2 barrel.

Or

Chest rig with lots of tubes, 12gs go on my thighs. I have microfibers in my pockets and usually my pocket knife on my belt.

For a scenario I will also carry a camel back with Water!!
I will also bring a note pad and a pen and probably a protein bar or some other snack.

I try to stay light and tight so I don't carry much else.

Pro tip! You can fit 6 smokes in a 10rnd tube! but you shouldn't smoke, its bad for you

That is good advise. Be as ready as possible before you need to, Keep track of time, and attend the briefings.

Other things I haven't seen mentioned:
Get a good neck lanyard for your car keys, ID badge, and map*.
Drop a spray botttle of water at the insertion point for lense cleaning.

*Before the game I'll take the field map shrink it down to 3" x 2" index card and run it through the laminator. That way I have a waterproof map I can keep with me.

I know this has been mentioned but WATER WATER WATER WATER WATER WATER!!!!!!!! Heatstroke is no fun. Neither is dehydration. Keep a camelback on you, and lots of bottles at the insertion point or something. My rule of thumb: one bottle of water for every hour of play. I drink a little more than most and run a lot more than most, so you might need less than I do. Also, some granola bars or fruit are not a bad idea.

Primary: bt delta (just got it for Xmas so got no ugrades on it but I'm getting a remote line in a couple of weeks)
Secondary: Dont have one but am getting a tipx .
I have a tactical vest which I hold 2 100 round pods, have a pouch that I'll be putting my tank in when I get a remote line. And probably a bladder pack.
Dark green army shirt and pants. And my boots.
Backup: iconx ( I know its not a great gun but I only just got into paintball in September 2012)

I go remote line for scenario games. Plus a make a 6 pack of water with a hoppy beer for the end of the day.

I take breaks to eat and if I'm getting taken out time and time again, I try to get players to go with me to drive out the kids camping at certain bunkers. It's not a one man army.

Time checks with blu tooth headsets for comm support on cell phones works as well as a walkie talkie.

I try to keep my loadout as light as possible without sacrificing the essentials: paint, air, and water.
I always make sure to carry atleast 6 pods on the field and 2L of water. For extremely hot days, I carry 3L. Everything else is confined to a single modular pouch on my camelbak carrier:
Allens
Multitool
Sharpie and map
Microfiber
Snacks
First Aid Kit (yes I carry a personal one especially for Oklahoma D'day)
Smoke grenades
Radio
