The PbNation datacenter move is complete
If you're seeing this, you're seeing PbNation in it's new home at CrowdGather, Inc. If you didn't catch the announcement earlier, PbNation has now successfully transitioned to the CrowdGather datacenter located in sunny Los Angeles, CA.
We've tested this new environment prior to the move, but there's bound to be some bugs that crop up. If you spot anything out of the ordinary or broken, please post in this thread and we'll do our best to get it fixed.
We've compensated users who had Ups active when we took the site down by extending the length of their Ups by 8 hours.

I used my downtime to get in some long overdue harmonica lessons on youtube.

I used my downtime to obsessively hit F5 until the site came back up.

Some pages seem to load a bit slower for me. But no real complaints

Seems about the same for me, although the Android App isn't working right yet.
Actually, I was trying to show someone pics of the Empire Sniper last night, and they came up pretty quick on my phone just using a browser. Not too shabby.

I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary yet, I did get a couple threads that were a bit slower than usual, but I chalked it up to a momentary thing.
Overall I think our response time is about .5s faster, which is a pretty big gain.

I'd kind of been thinking, with any upgrade, update, move, etc, if it comes off without any noticable effect on the day to day use, then it's been done right.
It's when the world goes totally fubar that you have to wonder why on earth anything was changed in the first place. Bank software comes to mind.

I don't know if it is because of the move, or just my computer, but the ad at the top of the page does not stay there. It becomes a white and black bar the size of the ad and moves with the page, always staying at the top of screen no matter where on the site I go. It has been doing this for a couple of days so I thought I'd let you guys know.

I've had another report of this, but I don't think it's related to the move. What browser version are you using?

Latest version of google chrome. I never had this problem before the move which is why I decided to bring it up now.

Weird, I'm on Chrome 16 for mac and my ads are staying put. We're transitioning to new ad software early next week, which might take care of it.
