What products do you the players want to see?

Your the players, your ideas and wants should be what the companies listen to, but a number have given you the cold shoulder and put profit before the people, and in the current economy, some companies that chose to do that have passed into the darkness.

Our sport has changed a number of times over the years, but it still revolves around the same idea, splat the guy wearing any arm band that doesnt look like yours! Certainly no one who plays can complain about that, and in the past few years some of the aspects that made paintball great that had slipped away or become second string have been making a comeback. Sportsmanship has began to come back, and the economy has made the idea of accuracy begin to take precedence over volume, we have begun to find each other stalking through woods instead of inflatable fields. Fledgling companies that would not have had a chance in the arms race that paintball had become are getting a chance to make a name for themselves.

Thats where I come in. I want to create a company for the players, with products for the players.

Take a moment and think about it, what products, be it markers for barrel bags or anything in between.

a 200 dollor or less tournament style poppet valve gun that is not a blowback/seartripper. It would be great for newer players that want a cheap reliable gun that has modern technology and is efficient.

Sadly, the last company to go this route closed up shop a year or two ago. Granted, they were making affordable spool guns, but the idea was the same. Honestly, the Ion was plenty of gun for just about any environment, and the Vibe/SP-1 was great for recball. Not sure if the "cheaper to the public guns" thing had much to do with their demise, or if it was unfortunate timing on some other ventures, but the end result was the same.

Not likely. Just the raw materials cost, plus everything else that goes into making good paint, really, paint costs today aren't anything to turn a nose up at.

Tom Kaye's Shoebox Compressor is about as close as you'll get.

For myself, I'd like to see the return of real private-label milling in guns. And good mechanical guns.

Empire paintball has released the actual only product I ever wanted. Very lightweight pants that don't restrict movement. Forever my biggest complaint about paintball was lacking the agility I have when playing lacrosse due to huge bulky knee pads and excessively padded pants. I really look forward to wearing the new zero pants.

Oh yeah and the speed feed! Possibly the best ever innovation in paintball.

I would like to see a collapsable target system. Nothing fancy, but durable. With adjustable heights and positions to allow lots of different shooting drills.

id like to see happen...

a small agitated hopper for pump,
pretty much, bring back the revvy, not a bastardized version of it,

a modular mask, (think of the flex)
that isnt one size fits all.
similar grill sections that are different sizes,
lense frames made for people with huge schnozes.

an air system that comes with full adjustable ranges out the box
from 100 psi to 1000 psi,
the maxflow was too big, but ninja is on track.

keep bringing back the milling of the days,
it doesnt have to be extravagant or extremely light
just a clear inclination that gun 1 from team a,
is different from gun 1 from team b, and still different from gun 1 in a customers hands.

keep the guns balance in mind.

more stick feed options,
empire has a spring feed but for 10 rounds,
how about 20 rounds? and how about them
not being a magazine that you carry many of?

ive drawn up a hatch system that you retract a plunger,
open the feed gate hatch that links the tube to the guns
breech and load your paint, lock it down and keep shooting.

Larger knee pads that dont just cover the knee cap.
there is more to the knee that a layer of neoprene only helps as a compression sleeve.

kits for phantoms.

lever action,
under barrel,
rifle,
pistol,
larger horizontal feed using the above list,

hundreth monkey scull caps with or without brims.
paintball hats that dont come off when you pull off your mask.

better distribution through product manufacturers,
like franchising, except the producers own a field in tandem with owners.

more pumps.
more autocockers.
more airsmiths.

less customer bases that demand airsmiths drop their prices.

and can someone please bring the sexy back?

Electronic, and you can bring it through hell and back.... and it will still shoot straight.

I too would like to see more stick feed options. I'd be all over a phantom if the stick feeds were spring loaded like the SA-17.
A horizontal spring loading system for first strike rounds.
More barrel adapters for less common markers(i.e. Tiberius, Phantoms, etc.)
Paintballs that are ACTUALLY .68 caliber, none of that .679 bull****
Longer inserts and control bored barrel kits(i.e. 6in, 8in, etc..)
Larger pods or smaller electric hoppers. What good is a 200 round hopper if you pod only holds 100?
and the absence of said Sexy is also annoying

i loooove poppit valve guns, much much more than spools, maybe i dunno how to properly maintain a marker but every spool ive had has given me headaches.
but i have to run with a dp g4 because its the only decent thing in my price bracket.
I want a cheap poppit valve marker($200-350) , im sure itd do very well

Cheaper paint, while it only costs me $15 for entry for the day, the $60 for a case of paint is what drives up the cost of playing and keeps many people away from the sport. I know "pump scout" essentially is saying paint is close to as cheap as it can get, but maybe the process/materials needs to be rethought from the ground up and reinvented. Money is the biggest factor in people not coming out to play, and decent guns have finally become cheap. Paint needs to be the next thing to come down in price. I'm really not sure what people are talking about with the price of paint supposedly dropping over the years either. I played from 98-2004 before I came back and in 1998 a case of paint was still $60-70 then, just as it is now.
