friends old school impulse question

i was looking at my friends old vision impulse and his reg is loose as hell..i figured it was just the screw at the top of the reg so i took the reg off and tightened the vertical screw at the top, put microline back on etc etc. it was tight for a while but became loose again, what else could it be?

If the screw is coming loose, try using a bit of Loctite on the threads of the screw before re-installing it.

Medium strength or Low Strength will work great.

Take a look here. http://www.impulse-owners.com/manual...ket_manual.pdf Depending on the age, you could have a gas through or a vertical Max-Flow. Possibly a Shocker style Max-Flow too. Anyway, they bolt up into the body (either the gas trhough or the Vertical Adapter) with one allen head screw. There should be an o-ring there too that is at the base of the screw between the reg and the body. That ring is tight on the screw. That will give a little cushion and help to keep it from unscrewing.
