Debating about when I should cut again. My main goal is to stay above 200 during the cut.

Right now I'm at 209, I' thinking I will prob have to go to about 220.

Real talk, if he's not lifting it doesn't matter.

If he is lifting, start with shooting for 100g+ of protein a day, then increase it up to 1g per # of LBM as he gets his diet under control. Don't overcomplicate things at first. Just start with a calorie goal then go from there. He'd probably lose a good amount even at 3k calories and little exercise.

and its people like you that will make him not want to do it..^^

i never talk ****/down on people that try to make an effort to benefit themselves.. unlike half the world who sit on their fat ***** all day and dont do **** about it it the other half are in the gym TRYING to lose weight but its people like you who probably laugh at them in the gym and discourage them to want to come back..

Actually I'm respectful to EVERYONE in the gym unless they are doing something stupid like curling infront of the rack or some other disrespectful act. I'm glad people are working to change themselves.

I used to give out alot of dieting advice to fat people, till I realized that all of them just give up after a week, pissing me off because I wasted my time trying to help them out.

This is the internet, people act differently in real life...

Quitting once makes it easier to quit again. Honestly, the path to change is to want to change. If, at the deepest level of your conscience, you want to change, it will happen. If you don't, then it doesn't matter what you tell yourself, who is helping you, or what kind of external motivation you have, it won't happen at all.

I've found that the easiest way to make myself want to change is to learn to hate myself. Or, at the least, hate certain parts of yourself. Once your hate for whatever negative attribute you think you have overcomes your desire for keeping things easy and comfortable for yourself, you will have won. All that's left is time.

long time fatty here, maxed out at 6'5" 365 lbs as of April 2009, dropped to roughly 290 for 2 years, began cutting again in June of this year, currently 248 on the final 3 1/2 months of my cut. anyone have simple recipes for lean beef they really like?

Trying to get to 12% BF before I leave Afghanistan. So hard, the food here is such ****....

Right now my macros are at:
260g pro, 275g carb, 100g fat on heavy lifting days
260g pro, 200g carb, 100g fat on light days
260g pro, 240g carb, 100g fat on moderate days

Thoughts?

Need to lower cals a lot. Lower fat a lot as well and cycle fat when you cycle your carbs (low fat, high carb days and low carb, high fat days)

On days: 225/250/50 (~2500)
Off Days: 225/50/130 (~2200)

THats about what I shot for throughout most of my cut
