Weight Cutting Thread

Be it for sport or show, I thought a nice, centralized location for weight cutting would be a good idea.

Tips, tricks, and logs are all very much encouraged. Cutting weight sucks, lets enjoy misery together.

Switching off LEMUR while trying to cut. I'm just too drained to make it all the way through the workout with the intensity required

i do lemur days fasted brohan, i feel like death after squats

scale said 187 today after my weekend back home and i didnt fast saturday or sunday. hopped off the scale feelin legit, knew if i could add some reps i'd be great. was in for a surprise

After getting handled by one of our rangey 170s on Thursday, I am very confident in my choice to cut. I don't recall ever being beat up like that. Spent the majority of my weekend looking up training camps in Thailand.

Kid is really just an animal. Played college football at ~265, is about 6'3, weighs about 195 now and is seriously as strong or stronger than anyone I've ever sparred/rolled with. I've tapped him all of once since he started training with us.

eat less, fatty.

seriously though, scale weight hasn't changed in weeks feels batman. Still losing on my waist and counting cals so I know I'm doing it right. Stupid inaccurate non-digital scale. Shouldn't have bought it lol

I'm a bit busy to be able to do that, maybe next semester if I can get my schedule set up right. I gotta find a boxing gym first, anyway.


EDIT: Found a boxing gym offering 4 day/week classes for $60 a month. Intradesting.

Depends on the quality of instruction/faciliy. A lot of boxing gyms are dirt-*** cheap.
