Hit up utah. "Best snow on earth" apparently. Snowbird, Brighton, Alta if you ski; and many others. I definitely want to live there someday

how long of a trip are you planning?

If youre willing to drive, you can fly into Spokane, WA (east WA) then hit up the resorts around that area (there are 5 good resorts within an hour driving from Spokane)

From there you can head west. Seattle is a 6-8 hour drive depending on weather. You can hit up resorts on the way if you want.

You can also just fly into spokane and drive over to seattle without riding anything and save a lot of money. Im ure flights into spokane are cheaper since its not all touristy.

Not sure how all out you wanna go.

I figured 3 days of riding. I need to start looking into lift tickets at some of these places...I hear they can get pretty steep...

honestly, most of the time you are better off buying a season pass for the week your going to be there. if you do it in the off season its cheaper than buying 6 tickets. chances are if you go to summit county your going to be spending around 70 bucks a ticket. most places are around that.

I'm actually going to probably end up moving to snowmass/aspen so depending where you go, you will get different terrain.

I've never ski'd in Utah, but I can't imagine snow being too powdery to enjoy hitting the best lines of my life. Most of the snow I hit is pretty wet, but these last two years have been amazing in terms of snowfall and temp. Higher temps = heavy snow; which is just like boarding in mashed potatoes... i.e, **** it.

Anyone have boot recommendations? Currently have thirtytwo lashed and they're fine but a size too small. I'd like something comfy and easier to lace. Gonna try a bunch on but I'd like some ideas going in.

I've been riding my Rome Libertine's (laced, not pureflex) for two seasons and am preparing for a third season with them. I like them a lot. The liner molds nicely, the boot hasn't turned to mush yet (I'd say they have over 30 days of riding on them).

I would like a slightly stiffer boot for my next purchase, but for now, the Libertine's are getting the job done.

I don't know how you are going to get any easier than the 32 Lashed in terms of lacing it up. Every other laced boot is essentially exactly the same.

Aren't there some good quick lace systems out there like the boa?

If you insist on a BOA system, the K2 UFO or Maysis are your best bets.

BOA is wack, in my opinion, because you can have much more adjustability in fit with laces.

Also, if you are an adult, why is there an issue with tying a knot?

Why do you want a quicker lacing system... you lace em up once and its done.

Like bro above said, with regular laces you get more ability to keep it loose in areas and tight in others, which means more comfort.

If your Boa system breaks at the hill for whatever reason, you're ****ed. If laces fray and snap, you can just knot it together and keep going, or use your shoe laces in a pinch.

I have a pair of burton imprint2's, with the quick, pull lace system. It works well I suppose, but I think on my next boot purchase i'm going to go with laces. I agree with the guys above, if tying up your boots is enough of a deal to you to not go with them, then you need to re-evaluate your priorities; aka, don't be so lazy. It's a more custom fit that you have to do once or twice.

Quick lacing is the worst, that **** never stays tight. Salomons system is the only one that works halfway decent.
