wearing **** that's too thick under your outerwear will just be uncomfortable...which is why everyone wears long underwear.

I'm 185 size 10 boot and I ride a 151 with the edges detuned to the max with no problems whatsoever (except on concrete PNW ice days... But that's expected). I do ride a 156 for all mountain / pow and that gives me enough float.
If you wear cotton while riding it will absorb your sweat and then it will become damp and cool, leaving you bummed and wishing you had some synthetic or wool baselayers.

i'm calling bull**** on this. thats just a ****ty park set up, thats not going to be enough to support your weight beyond anything more than a skidded turn.

Rode a 151 Capita Scaremaster 3 years ago and it was stiff enough to absorb my landing when I overshot a big late-season jump (35+ foot drop to FLAT), rode a Capita Horrorscope 151 2 years ago. Not a ****ty park setup at all. The Horrorscope was even fine for everything besides the big jumps and on rails it's awesome because I find I'm able to manipulate the softer board easier.
And I like to ride fast and pull hard carves. Call bull**** if ya want, I'm a 60+ day a season rider for the last 3 seasons and I've ridden a lot of different sized boards and rocker/camber configs and that's what I find to be a good fun park deck. Also the mountain I ride at (Stevens Pass) has these permanently icy chutes that you have to take to get to the park. I used these boards all day long lapping the park doing these chutes which require you to point it pretty hard down some hairy moguly terrain.

I've got some pictures somewhere of me riding my scaremaster... I'll try and find them for proof.
Can't really tell from the pic what size it is, but I guess you'll just have to take my word at that point haha
Also on the Scaremaster

ok, so you just said you never really use your edges. which is the point i'm trying to make a 151 for someone your size is not going to hold your weight when you actually lay into a high edge angle carve. i don't give a **** if you go on ice, that just goes on to prove my point. if you actually intend on using the edges on your board, something that small is not going to allow you to do that.

I don't know what to tell you man, maybe it defies the laws of sidecut and all that garbage but I have perfect control over my boards. If I didn't, I wouldn't ride it.
I mean think about it! It's still a board right? It's still strapped to your feet like any other board right? So maybe it's a little softer and less responsive coming out of turns (honestly only felt this with the Horrorscope, the Scaremaster being regular camber was totally fine).
I actually forgot that I rode a 152 Green Machine last year. ****ing loved that board. Did our parks big jump line all day long and this thing was perfect. Super soft, but regular camber so it had tons of snap. I did end up snapping it on the tail... but it was a super weird break and was warrantied.

I can't wait to get out this season. My friends out in SLC are already riding. I rock a 2010 Arbor Coda 157, union force binders. Been riding since 88, but since the early 90's I only get to ride a hand full of times a year.

i'm still probably going to try my luck on a wide skate banana, only 3cm shorter than the board i have now which is excellent.
Anyways, you guys seen The Art of Flight?

How do you Guys like skate bananas? I'm looking for a good park board that's also not bad for all mountain riding still, I'm still not nearly as good at park as I want to be. I still really like horrorscopes though... Idk yet
