I prefer to work out alone. It enables me to concentrate on the lessons that the Iron has for me. Learning about what you're made of is always time well spent, and I have found no better teacher. The Iron had taught me how to live. Life is capable of driving you out of your mind. The way it all comes down these days, it's some kind of miracle if you're not insane. People have become separated from their bodies. They are no longer whole.

Again, you are putting on unnecessary fat. Though this relationship can't soundly be expressed linearly it still holds merit. If you were to keep this up for a year you'd gain 102 pounds. How much of that do you think you would gain in muscle?
I'm just saying dude you can't increase muscle gained by just packing on extra food. You get a diminishing return. If you are gaining two pounds a week not on steroids and not noob gains it's not nearly all muscle.
Just my .02.

Yes. As discussed previously, it's a carnosine precursor, and carnosine is lacking in the vegan diet. Thus the recommendation.

That doesn't change anything.....
Wants hooogness now? So putting on almost 10 pounds a month which is largely glycogen stores/fat constitutes as "hugeness". I guess it does, but not in a positive sense.
Obviously Lurker isn't ****ing 7% body fat but based on that recent picture I wouldn't put him anything over 15-16 (correct me if I am wrong)
I don't agree with the cyclical cut/bulk phases unless you are a competition bodybuilder. There's no real reason to dirty bulk and put on 6%'s of fat simply because it's winter, and then go through an excruciating cut that leaves you hungry and lonely.
Much better/easier to be content with .8-1 pound a week and do it while staying relatively lean.
If your bodies natty limit is to put on a pound a week, cramming an extra 500 calories on top of that won't increase lbm.

what about those that gain weight very easily??
im kinda scared because i dont want to put on weight too fast, for the reason you have already stated. i think it'll be super easy for me to add 10lb in a month, even tho it will be very clean eating

Anyone can gain weight it is called eating a **** ton of food. You aren't going to find someone who can naturally gain 2 pounds of muscle a week after noobgains/without extra help, just ain't gonna happen.
Like I posted before, there is a large body fat window that you don't notice change. Take a guy who weights 180 at 12% body fat. Bulk to 190 and say his new bf % is somewhere like 15%. He isn't going to look that different in terms of fat composition, but he did add a fair amount of fat.
But what you can't alter significantly (without extra help) is your body's ability to create new lbm out of that food.
I could sit here and eat 6k cals a day and I'd weight 200 pounds in 5 months. Would I have put on some good muscle? Sure. Would I look absolutely gluttonous at 25% body fat? Yes.

So i feel like I am always hounding you for recommended dosing on things like this, but it really is just because I either find conflicting reports or no clear answer elsewhere. Can I ask where you find your doses for such things like BA, betaine, etc?

Slower mass changes are always more keepable. Always. Both ways.
Pro contest prep is like often 16-18 weeks now, if I'm not mistaken. Pelt might know better than me. Layne follows this theory, I know, although he has the additional restriction of having to test negative for steroids

trying to do it slowly right now. Feels too slow, only have a crappy old school scale and it's barely moved in 3 weeks. of course, I have to recalibrate it every time. But I'm counting accurately and only taking in 2100 kcal a day max. Should be moving at a decent clip so I'm waiting for a woosh.
Just had my first shake with ON double chocolate. HORY **** never buying cheap whey again. This stuff tastes amazing. not worth saving 5-10 per 5lbs and missing out on this flavor.
