That's why I actually want 150, but i'm asking 175. it's like buying a house. You know what you want, but you know that people are lowballing asshats, so you price it 20k above what you actually want.

okay so i have those same two rockford 10" p1s, i am now shopping for a suitable amp to power them.
they are rated for 300 watts max each, they are both 8 ohms so that will create a 4 ohm load on a single circuit correct? im gonna wire them up as seen in this diagram ( http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchf...8-ohm_mono.jpg )
im currently looking at an MTX jackhammer amp that puts out an advertised 600 watts max, but its like 305 x1 @ 4ohms. which is right where i want the power rating right?
edit:
its a tie between these two:
(MTX) http://www.amazon.com/MTX-JackHammer...6391&s r=1-41
(RF) http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosga.../ref=pd_cp_e_2
im gonna be a brand whore for this build, so im leaning towards the rockford obviously. lmk if im being retarded. or, if your having a bad day, just call me a retard. no hard feelings

Your subs should have an RMS and a peak power rating.
You wanna look at the RMS and find something where the amp is double the RMS of a single sub since you have two of them. Look at the 4ohm rating for the amp.
Also, are they dual voice coil subs or no?

150 RMS continuous, 300 watts max. SVC(8 ohms) rockford fosgate punch P1 10". im thinking that rockford amp will be fine for what i want to do since its 350 watts on one channel at 4 ohms, ill just turn the gain down about halfway.
im not going to blast the **** out of them, but there is a backseat and a rear deck in between the trunk and me, and i would like to be able to show off while still having 4 people in my car. my one 12" with my lil 75 watt amp is fine when i wanna hear bass in songs, but nowhere near as loud as my system could be.

Almost burned my car to the ground. Started smelling something funny so I pulled over and popped the trunk. Apparently my two loose sub wires (inside the box), came untaped and shorted on each other. Got there just in time to watch my box terminals melt, and stop it just before the box caught on fire. Fawk.

lulz, dats funneh. My SUV was having problems shorting out every once in a while and turning the whole car off while I was driving it. I went to go rip out all the wiring last week cause my uncle needed some for his new build. And I found out one of my 1/0 gauge runs to the back had a nick in its insulation that ended up shorting out against the firewall...a good 3 inch portion of the insulation had melted off and the wire was all green and black. So grommet your ****.

I really hate that head unit though. And I lost the stock one for my 3000
I'll figure something out. Also I don't know if that box will fit in the viggen

If you wire two 4ohm SVC subs in parallel the amp will "see" 2ohm

I found 3 6ft runs of 1/0 OFC and a 1/0 ANL fuse holder for 30 bucks. Some of the 6ft runs even have connectors on them already. Big 3 upgrade already? I think so.
