Carrying Rockets/Launcher

Hello,

I have a Metadyne Havoc launcher for scenario games, currently I rigged a laptop strap to carry it on me as I only use it when I see a tank. Does anybody have any better ideas to carry the launcher around?

Also, how about ways to carry rockets, i am going to LL7 and can carry up to 8 rockets. best idea i have come up with is putting them each in 100 round pods and using the extra slots on my pod pack. But it makes my lower back a bit bulky. Please let me know if anyone has any better ideas.

I don't know if you're a facebook user or not, but in the Nerf Herders group (Get it? Nerf Rockets?) There's a guy, Sean who makes fantastic pieces for Havocs. There's one he makes that's a Barrel Blocking Device (BBD) that has a D ring on it for a strap. I have one of his earlier ones without the BBD and I have a WTF Paintball tank sling mount. EXTREMELY nice person and high quality. This setup gives me room to run around with my hands available to carry props and such.
As for my rockets, I use an Army surplus First-Aid bag. It carries about 10 rockets.

if you have the STOCK on the havoc..the CHEAP solution would be to put a ZIP TIE through the holes on the stock, and add a Clip to it...works well for me

A standard BDU camo top holds 2 Rockets in each pocket. That is 8 with one in the barrel. The fins can get bent that way and affect accuracy but you could just cut sections of PVC pipe to hold them in to prevent that.

This is a belt for an autoloading cannon I am working on.

Use very small O rings and do something simular to carry on your front or back. Real Rambo.....
Thin wall PVC or mailing tubes would be much lighter... CLEAR mailing tubes would look good too!

Some fit INSIDE 2" PVC. What about a Havoc?

Clouded One,
I bought mine from Hustle Paintball and they suggested getting a NC Star shotgun scabbard to use to carry the launcher around. It's apparently the right length and the Havoc sits in there nicely. I just recently purchased one and can't wait to try it out!

Thanks guys, so I purchased a dump pouch and rigged it to hang off of one of the extra slots on my pod pack. Worked perfectly. I plan on checking out the scabbard soon.

If I'm playing solo, I use a Valken universal holster attached to either a molle vest, or a thigh rig. Then I run a ninja dual romote line to the launcher and to my marker. If I'm with an AT team, I'll just carry the launcher and a pistol and the guys with markers support the guys with launchers.

I have the undergun mount as well and I've tried running the launcher under an SP-1. It was convenient, but got kind of heavy. It also seems hard to shoot the launcher accurately from under a gun.

Here is a BT4-dump pouch. I have not used it yet. Might be a little bulky for me. But it holds over thirty rockets.

Does anyone have any suggestions for using Nerf rockets in this? I've fired four rockets and lost the fins off all of them.

You might try turning it down. I know I had the same problem with my Havoc when it was turned up to high.
