We have pleanty of teams shooting demons with GA tanks with no issues.
Prolly just your tank.
We have now did alot.of tests with the new SmP 550 reg from ninja anhave seen great things from this reg. If you are planing on buying new reg.i would recommend these regs.

Hey just an update in my problem with the Vanguard Demon
i went to the field with 4 tanks regulators i have, 2 guerrillas and 2 ninja. Also with 2 macdev extenders to see if i can solve my problem.
First of all the maker didnt air up with neither of the guerrillas regulators, i then try the 2 guerrilla regulatos with the macdev extenders in the Guerrillas reg and the Demon didnt air up. After that i try my 2 ninja tanks, both of them air up the Demon but i hear like if the air dont have enough power going inside the maker, it was so quiet that you have to put your ear close to the asa to hear the air going inside the maker.
After that before shooting i put my 2 macdev extender in my 2 ninja reg, the results was that they didnt air up just like the guerrilas. Then i took 3 tanks from different players of my local field, the 2 guerrillas didnt air up the maker, and the ninja was the same results as my ninjas reg. So after this i start thinking that maybe are not my regulators.
Test shooting with the Demon.
I put the ninjas regulators without the macdev extender, and start shooting with the maker. First shot was ok no problem, then when the Ramp start it makes a Drop off but when i stop shooting for 1 second or 2 the maker charge again and i shot it 1 shot by 1 shot (not Ramping) the maker dont make a drop off.
i will try today to put something between the macdev extender and the pin of the asa (plastic or metal) and then try to shoot 12 bps to see if it makes drop off (i made yesturday some test with the plastic part and the metal part) and the regulators charge with more power the maker (i can hear like a normal air charge when i air up the maker) i will post tonight the results of my test.

If you are still seeing recharge issues then we will need you to send the marker into us to look at the ASA.
please contact customer service to set up for the RMA.

Try unscrewing the ASA knob a bit. Funny thing with the Guerrilla Tank is that you can screw the ASA pin/o-ring directly into the opening of the regulator and choke off the air flow. Back it out a bit.
Also, if that doesn't work, check your regulator on the marker and make sure you don't have it "closed" preventing air from getting beyond the regulator.

Ya it sounds like the pin on the regs is too short for the asa.
