HELP: Ion shoots when 1st aired then just clicks

When first gassed up ion shoots 1-15shots then only clicks as balls roll out of barrel. Has small leak from either solenoid or bolt. Every time i re-pressurize it, it repeats sequence. Pressure reads about 160psi during entire process and does not drastically change. HELP!!!

Have a dark ion with blackheart board. All orings just replaced and loobed up with fresh battery.

Not sure if it's a bad noid, blown oring, or just weird voodoo.

Most likely a dwell issue, I had this same exact thing happen with mine before.

That's encouraging. Never had this happen with any other gun. Really confused me how it shoots after unscrewing and screwing in my tank.

For the most part even if you bought a high end like a LUX or NT you could reset your dwell, IF you really wanted. Its just those markers are so well refined that you don't really need to.

So I adjusted the dwell to stock settings. Shot great at the chrono then started doing the same thing.

Here something new I have noticed;
When the gun is just gassed up, I can shoot without problem through two full hoppers as long as I don't stop. The moment I pause, when I start shooting again I just hear the faint hissing fire sound and balls roll out of the barrel.

Sorry for all the trouble buy really having a hard time with this thing.

Yo yo yo, before you mess with ANYTHING, make sure to open up the Ion and lubricate all the Orings on the bolt.

Rarely has anything to do with dwell or pressures. Just people tend to forget that a spool needs to be lubricated after every couple cases of paint, or after every normal day of play (I'd rather do it right before).

Not lubing it will cause massive bolt stick and the ruining of the bolt system.

It worked when you shot nonstop because the bolt was already cycling, so it had no time to sit and stick to the firing can.

Ions are super easy to keep working and maintaining if you do it regularly.

Also, what bolt and upgrades do you have in there? what board do you have and do you have a QEV or high flow barbs/hosing in there?
