Gonna go break em in tommorow, I whole heartedly agree though... if you were to somehow munch it, face first, pun intended, then I believe your face would cave in before the mask would.

Worked great!
Played today and got to see the quirks with the mask, status report to follow:
Fog -- Not an issue at all, very good venting for non-thermal mask. However... though no fog reached the lens, and it was humid and overcast all day, the "breath box" area (where your mouth is) was sopping wet all day from breath water vapor. Not an issue but I'm sure it looks menacing enough without the "mad-dog" salivating look.
Toughness -- I did actually fall today, twice... My brain was not aware of how out of shape my legs were (haven't played in 2 decades), the mask only got rolled on to one side, it held up. I could not tell when I took paint on the mask, I'm not decided if this is good or bad yet... but a couple of times I believe I may have stayed in after being shot without knowing. You don't hear the impact on this mask, unless it hits the lens. Strap is still in great shape, no cracking, no chipping, no odd defects to report.
Comfort -- Great, still have a few adjustments that I could make but it's comfortable now. I'll leave it alone.
Lens -- I emailed GI about the lens, no response. Impolite. It needs factory tinted lenses, period. My tint job was OK, it has already started to come off from getting hit, not gonna last to long. I will post the pics of the tinted lens asap, wife is holding them hostage.
Cool factor -- Got a few compliments on it, and no-one looked at it and threw up so all must be well. It WAS the only one like it on the field, it didn't fog up at all, and did it's job well today. Cool.
Played in the mask today at ASG in Colton, CA for recball for the entire day and the mask was not an issue at any point, it was great.

Anyway, a mask is the only thing you shouldn't skimp on. For what it is, I don't think this mask is a bad deal if it's comfortable, and supplies good protection

I'm curious with GI releasing their own branded goggles if they will continue to produce Vforces current masks.

-This was probably said already, but I don't want to sift through 9 pages-
Not a fan of the design. I'd probably grab some i4's before this... and I do not like i4's cause my face is too big.

The mask is not soft, at all... so it looks huge in picture because it has not been pulled taut by the strap (which says GI VISION btw). So when wearing the mask, it is actually pretty "sleek". I'm going to go shakedown my wife for the pics I took of it tinted, it makes it look like a whole new mask. Though, tinted or not, some of you will just never like it
