Thinking about getting a Demon
I have owned mostly stacked tube poppits (all timmies) or inline poppits and currently shoot a G6R with 4c eyes and an lp poppit. I also own an Axe as my backup gun, it shoots good, be it a bit boring in my opinion. I am looking to upgrade and have been doing lots of research. I have shot Victories, Luxes, and Egos, but I just want something different. I have never owned a spoolies before and am looking into getting one.
I was just wondering if I am barking up the right tree in regard to looking into a demon and was wondering everyones thoughts on them including the negatives about spoolies such as first shot drop off and the like. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Have yet to experience any FSDO from my Demon. Have had plenty of FSDO problems with my Luxe, Shockers, etc. but the Demon has not had a single problem, and my FSDO setting is currently turned OFF.
I play in cold, rainy Oregon too. This winter will be the real test of the Demon, but to be fair, I had FSDO in the Luxe in the middle of summer.

You made a good choice. I have had mine for 3 weeks and I love it. Have let my friends shoot it and they love it also.

I had such a great talk with the service rep Kathlynn that I felt if they treat their customers like they make guns there should be no problems.

Either the Monkey Poo supplied or Dow 55 will get the trick done. Pretty much like any spooly in terms of lube-age.

wait, Dow 55 or you meant 33?
Dow 55 makes orings swell, Monkeypoo doesnt. If I put Dow 55 on my Demon it wont cause issues related to the orings swelling?

thanks for all the responses! I was doing a little research on the subject and someones said you could mix like triflow with dow 55 and that works?? What are the benefits to that. I'm a timmy gun originally so I have both, but was wondering why someone would want to do that. Just to let you know I have never owned a spoolie, but have owned and inline poppit.

if you combine grease and oil it will thin the grease out a bit. i find that this cuts down on FSDO (started doing this on my DM's back when i owned them).

So I currently have dow55 and triflow. I can combine them to cut down on fsdo? How much oil do I put in the grease? Just a little correct? Cause a little bit triflow can go along way

Its just my first spoolie in over ten years of playing paintball, so I'm just tryin to cover my bases.
On another note I just got an email from Vangaurd saying they forgot to ship put charger cover on the back of the grip after charging it up before shipment. It should get here on Saturday and I play Sundays, but if not is it okay to play with if say I put some electrical tape over it?

The cover charger fell off my Creed after I received it. I never had any issues with anything getting in it. If you aren't playing in a) mud or b)sand I wouldn't much worry about it. Putting electrical tape over it should cover your bases, especially if you're only playing with it once before you get the cover.

You'll be fine with the tape over it.
