Paid for PSP Card, but not showing up on APPA

Okay so at one of the CFPS events I had to pay for an ID card. I was told that by paying 50$ I would be buying a PSP ID card and would be able to pick up the card at the next PSP event that I played at. When I go onto APPA it says that I have paid for the CFPS ID Card, but that the PSP ID Card is still unpaid for. I mean I know it is just 20$, but that 20$ is worth half a practice. So I was wondering how I would be able to get this fixed.

Thank you,
-Chris

If you paid $50 at the event, then you just paid for the CFPS ID Card.

When I paid the 50$ at the event they told me that I was paying for a PSP ID card. Specifically said since they are the same price, you are paying for a PSP ID Card and they told me that I would be able to pick it up at the next PSP event that I went to. If they did not tell me this I would not be complaining

They are not the same price. A CFPS-only player fee is $30, and a PSP-only fee is $50. If you are paying at an event, there is a $20 late fee as we need a week to get your info, print the cards, and send them to the event. That late fee applies regardless of which league's fee you are paying - if you're paying for an event you are playing THAT DAY, then there is an extra $20 fee for doing so.

Actually, I think that there may be some reason for his confusion. I say this because, CFPS allows you to play the CFPS series using the PSP ID card as the ID for the CFPS events. Therefore, a person could purchase a PSP ID card for the $50 as the O/P stated which could then be used as his CFPS ID at a CFPS event. Nowhere does it state that you must have purchased the PSP ID card prior to a regional event in order to not be charged a late fee.

Please let us know Mr. Raehl.

If the OP had a PSP card, he wouldn't have had to pay at all.

If you wait until the event to pay, it costs $20 more, regardless of what you get.

I can agree that waiting until the day of an event would incur an extra fee. But, the O/P was told that he could purchase a PSP ID for $50 or, at least, it was implied that he was purchasing a PSP ID card. Considering that CFPS allows the use of a PSP ID for their CFPS ID, what is the justification in charging $20 more now if he was told he was purchasing a PSP ID card?

Since OP didn't have a PSP card, CFPS allowing a PSP card to be used is irrelevant.

The CFPS reg fee at an event, with the late fee, is $50. PSP is $20 more, $70. If someone else said they were going to cover your PSP fee for $50 you would have to talk to them.

So, just for clarification as it has come up several times, if a person attends an APPA regional series event, such as CFPS, that allows a party to use a PSP ID as the ID for that regional series a party would still have to pay a $20 late fee for their PSP ID card even though a PSP event may be weeks/months in advance?

No.

For example, let's say a regional event is on May 30.

Up until May 23, the regional player reg fee is $30 and the PSP player reg fee is $50.

If you are playing the May 30 event, and you wait until after May 23 to upload a suitable photo and pay your fee, then there is a $20 late fee, making the total prices $50 and $70 respectively.

umm okay, doesn't make much sense to me. How would APPA or PSP ever know that I was using the PSP ID for the CFPS event? That doesn't make any sense. If I buy a PSP ID card on the day of the CFPS event it should still only be 50$ because it is far before a PSP event. Some regional series don't allow for the use of PSP ID cards at their regional events which requires them to buy both, but CFPS does. I don't see how the ID card would go up 20$ when its for a PSP event. Is it simply because it was bought at the event? Like I could have bought it online that same day for 50$, but since I bought it from the field at the event it was an extra 20$??

And even with all that said, my main issue is that CFP told me I was buying a PSP ID card, but if there is nothing APPA or anyone can do about that then I understand.
